Why worry about it? Are you happy? Because at the end of the day that is all that matters. Being 26 and a virgin isn't something to be ashamed of, it's unusual, yes, but I for one would rather go out with someone who was a virgin than someone who had slept with half of the UK. As for the social skills, that takes time. Set yourself a little task each day, for example when you go to the shop, have a chat with whoever serves you, it doesn't have to be about anything important, just general chit-chat about the weather etc. Then as you do that more and more your confidence will grow and you'll find it easier to have a proper conversation...with a woman in a bar, for example. I really do not agree when a man would only date "virgin" girls. I think you should give her a chance to prove herself to you.
