We are here to EARN our rightfull place in the next life with the ALMIGHTY.If we live a good life pleasing to the creator we will be rewarded accordingly if not we will be discarded accordingly. Think about it ! With all we know the life of the world did not happen by chance and the promises handed down by FAITH is the only reason for our existance. Otherwise why care about this life or any other.

Humans are a parasite feeding on the back of Mother Earth...a living, breathing, being. We are no different than flies. However, we are more advanced, or so we would like to think. We could prove our intelligence if we would stop trying to mutilate and desecrate one another. I suppose with intellect comes carnage far worse than survival of the fittest. In our society it is survival of the craftiest.
Love is the only real answer, but most people have no clue what that means either.
Best wishes figuring "it" out!

We come here and go even elsewhere in this universe to do the job given to us by 'GOD' for those who is religious minded and under the rule of 'Scientific Circumstantial Evidence' for those who is spiritual minded. We are always instrumental in doing good or bed things for some one.But we should wisely consider that I am here to do the Job, for which I am here. In fact our doing on this earth decide our destiny. If we love the Mother earth more than any thing, we repeatedly come on this earth.

Bless you for the posing this very though provoking question. I believe that each person has his/ her individualized divine purpose for being here on Earth. I also believe that, that purpose is ordained by God and has a direct correlation to our destiny and the overall building of the body of Christ. We all have gifts and talents that were given to us by the Father, which if used correctly will help to build the kingdom in Heaven. Thus, all things considered, as a child of God, my primary purpose is to use the gifts that He has equipped me with to contribute to the building of the body of Christ.

The purpose of life is to return the favour to God, by spreading His message to the ignorant ones. And I see not much purpose for you as a Christian, as Christians believe that they're already been forgiven as Jesus shed blood for them.

But as a Muslim, we have to convey Allah's message far and wide and rid the image of Islam as of a religion of terrorism. Read the translation of Holy Quran and you'll understand the meaning of life. Ciao!

There is no purpose. Go out and live your life the way you want. Enjoy it as best you can and one day you will die. Hopefully a happy person.

The gain you can have is the growth of your inner personality. If you have not realized the existence of it yet, it is not in a growing stage yet. The purpose of life is to bring that inner man to perfection.

What excites you? What drives you? What do you care about most? What makes you happy? What makes you feel good? Who do you love? What do you love? All of that is what makes our lives great. You're right. We don't take anything with us, so take in what you can now. As far as an universal answer to the meaning of life, I don't think there is one. Only you can decide what your life means to you.

I agree with the first answer and I just wanna add that it's depends on the person. God has a plan for everyone of us and it's up to us to (with His help) find out what that purpose is. Hope you find your purpose and God bless you.
