My husband prefers diet Coke, I drink Pepsi... guess what? We buy BOTH!!!

Is it such an enormous issue that you can't each have your preference?

Perspective, as in asking yourself what is really important and worth fighting over. Hope you get some and move beyond this "stressful" fracture between the two of you.

Cheers

Why do you have to stop buying one? Why can't you buy yours and she buys hers? For the same amount that you normally buy, buy half hers and half yours. Just because you are in a relationship and are sharing things doesn't mean that you have to give up your individualism. Personally I prefer Yoplait but I like Dannon and some others. Who knows, in time, you might learn to like Dannon and she may like Yoplait OR you, both, may find a common yogurt that you like. Best wishes and take care.

Why do you have to choose between the two?....Is it to show your the king of the castle?...they aren't that expensive...just get both and you'll both be happy. If you only buy your kind....she might have to eat Dannon at some other man of the house's.....one that doesn't like yoplait?......If this is a problem for you....then I'd hate to see a REAL problem come up. Learn to pick your battles better.

By buying Yoplait for yourself and Dannon for her, you win in many ways. Both get the yogurt they like , you win receive warm fuzzies for doing something nice, peace descends, and she will be happy which should make you happy.

Why stop buying either one? Yogurt isn't expensive & if it makes you both happy the common sense thing to do is buy both. You may be the bread winner but I'm sure there is something that she brings to the relationship that you don't. Think about it!

Compromise is the answer to keeping a fulfilling lasting relationship. A selfish, self-centered attitude will lead to resentment and frustration. It’s only yogurt! Don’t sweat the small stuff, and I believe most stores carry both brands….
It is totally irrelevant who “the bread winner” is or that you are “the man”. One of the greatest gifts a person can bestow to another is being happy to provide them with what they enjoy

There are way too many other important issues in this world than what yogurt you eat. I say buy both. My husband and I have different tastes. I don't expect him to change for me and I won't change for him. If this was going to be a problem, you should have discussed it in the beginning. When kids come a long they will want something different, you buy what they like if you want them to eat.

It is perfectly ok to be a 2 yogurt household. No matter who wins or who bakes the bread, you are first individuals and in titled to your own tastes.

Buy both, it's just yogurt. We buy multiple brands of stuff all the time. Pick your battles.
