it's her house, she can do what she wants...unless you have some sort of written contract or lease agreement.

First of all how old are you and where is the $200.00 supposed to come from you or your parents and why are you not living with them instead? There are many situations that cannot be answered because there are not emough details. You need to go to your state website and find out what the laws are and if you owe her the money you need to pay here that is my first suggestion and it is not always easy living with someone and obeying there rules but that is what you have to do even if you don't like it because it is not your house it is hers and she is your Aunt. Need more information in order to help you.Good Luck and I hope she doesn't kick you out with no where to go maybe you could contact your local church and seek advice from the pastor or minister and have them speak with her on your behalf.

Are you under 18 years old? It is her house and she can throw you out if you are 18 or older. If you are younger, there may be some law against it. But I don't live in North Carolina, so I'm basically useless.

I'm from Maine, so not sure of the laws there..but i know that she probably has to give you a 30 day notice, but that's probably only if you are a tenant in her home...ask her for 30 days to get on your feet and find a way home.

depends-how old are you? not sure about the laws in NC but if you're a minor, no, she can't just throw you out. (child endangerment/abandonment) But it's an extreme move without provocation-are you sure she has no reason for kicking you out? also, what were the exact terms of this living arrangement?

Are you 18 or over? If so, yes she can throw you out. If you can establish you have been living there or paying her rent, she most likely has to only give you 30 days notice if there is no lease.

When my mom tryed to kick me out (numerous times). She knew I had Knowhere to go but she didnt care. I'd say, in a stern, serious, intellegent voice "I'm not going anywhere, call the police if you like and tell them youve got someone trespassing and you need there help to get them to leave your house".
now I'm 21 and I still live in the same house but, my mom lives with her mother.

If you're under 18 years old and she's your legal guardian than maybe she can't, but if you're over 18 or if she's not your legal guardian and you're putting her in a dangerous situation or not following her rules she certainly can. She can pretty much do whatever she wants - it's her house. If there's a legal lease that you've signed you can probably contest it, but if it's just verbal, you're out of luck.

It is her house, but there coudl be an up side if you were living there and paying rent. If you had an agreement, she just can;t throw you out like that for no reason.

it is her house she has the priority in making her decisons.how long will you be for support?
why don;t you try to move out but before that seek for a job which could sustain you and with little bit of hard work, and be optimistic there will be sunny days ahead if you put your hardwork into practise

It has to be another side to this story. Why would she just up and decide to throw you out knowing that you do no have anywhere to go?
