Especially in today's society where men have over-misused "I Love You" to get their way, I find that "Can I Help?" are fast becoming the 3 most powerful words a man can say... but it requires patience and a genuine desire to actually listen/act/whatever else is called for.
Many women still have a fairy tale vision for their lives thus the greatest thing a "Damsel in distress" can find is a "Knight in shining armor".
