I have known this guy since I was a freshman in high school(now I am 22). In high school him and I had a crush on each other but never did anything about it. He is the type of person that is touchy feely.
anyways he moved back home and now he wants to date me and everything. However for some reason I just can't get myself to let him. And I have no idea why. He is a nice guy and I trust him completely, basically with my life. I am not the touchy feely type of person, not the type where I need someone to hang all over me. He likes to do that. Maybe that is why it's stopping me from dating him.
If this makes any sence please let me know and give your opinion on what I should do or whatever.
I can't lead him on just yet cuz I have a blind date next friday. I can't tell him about it either cuz then he would get upset.

Oh my goodness! I was JUST like you with the Touchy Feely. I wasn't that at all when I started to date my boyfriend because I've never been used to that emotional display. I was so used to hangin' out w/the boyz that it just rubbed off on me. I'm used to it now because it's just his way of showing me how he feels. But don't let him get too "Fresh"

I am a firm believer in women's intuition and if you can't you just can't. You can not make yourself have feeling for someone just because you don't want to hurt his feelings, then you will be misarable. Go with your heart. On the touchy feely side mine is to an extent and I love it, but some women don't. Just listen to what you heart is telling you and don't get into something that you will regret in the long run.....

You need to be very honest with him. Tell him that you like him, but you aren't sure about dating him. Tell him what about him kind of bothers you and see if it is something you can work on. Tell him you have a date on Friday and you aren't ready to make any commitments to him.
If you have any chance of anything you have to tell the truth.

i think you should try it but you have to set boudaries with him, if he's touchy feely after a while when you're not trying to be like that with him he's gonna think you're not interested because that's how he understands affection through physical contact, so basically ya'll need like a time share plan, sometimes you need to give him what he wants and at other times he needs to give you what you want
