One time I got a hotel room with a 2 person hot tub in the room and went ahead of time and turned down the bed and sprinkled rose petals all over the place and put candles on the tub (not lit). I got some champaine and had that on ice. Then I went and picked up my hubby, blindfolded him and took him to the hotel and didn't take the blindfold off till we were in the room. He was really suprised.

Another time we went on a river boat dinner tour with dancing and all. That was fun and very relaxing.

If you two seldom do romantic things together, then this the perfect time to do so!; If his/her personality is outgoing, and you know he/she would really be surprised and impressed with a sweet close friends & Family celebration, then that would be a perfect way to tell her/him and everyone you love how happy you are to be together!; If you would rather make this occasion more special an intimate just for the two of you, why not take a weekend trip to a close-by city?, reserve a room in a lovely bed and breakfast, and bring along games, and things you can do together; plan to take walks, talk and do romantic things you might not always take the time to do in your every-day lives. You could also schedule a couple-spa treatment, such as a massage, which you two can enjoy, afterwards you could go to dinner and finish off an absolutely romantic evening. There are so many incredible and unique ways to celebrate an anniversary in an absolutely romantic way; I personally would love to take a helicopter ride around my town (Miami) and then go to dinner at a very lovely restaurant. Take into consideration your partner's personality and what she/he loves to do, and get creative from there on!. A lovely, home-made candle-lit dinner and some romantic movies could also do the trick!, it's all in the personality of the couple, and just the thought of doing something sweet is what makes it special and romantic ^_^.

Best of luck!

Reserve a dinner at the French restaurant, make a French kiss in public, have a great sex at home, and have a French pan cake for breakfast.

I say get a hotel room and go out for a really nice dinner. Just have one night to your guy's selfs away from the kids (if you have any). Have your kids be watched by grandma and grandpa and they can stay the night there. Areally nice fancy dinner for one night. 1 night alone together is great.
