I cannot seem to find a caterer that will help me for under $35 a person. I am having a wedding with about 25-30 people and we want it very casual. The last quote I got was $32 a person, which seemed fine, but then they required waiters and rental fees and added on gratuity! It ends up being $68 a person! Help! I went to theknot.com and that is no help.

Ok if you want fancy you will have to pay for it. But what about less fancy like Sonnys BBQ or Boston Market I think weddings go way out of proportion. When I got married we did alot of stuff ourselves. Decorated the reception hall made the center pieces with sea shells I live just south of Delray on the east coast too. Had the recption at a city park indoor meeting hall instead of a fancy hotel. Focus on the importance of the joining of two lives not how fancy it is. I have even heard of and we did consider it a bring your own dish pot lock reception but we had too many people from out of town.
I hope this gives you some ideas. Feel free to email me.

I've lived in Florida for 15 years now and it's VERY hard to find a caterer for the price range your looking for. Try looking on line in Delray & surrounding areas. Good Luck :-)
