It is one thing struggling with lesbian tendencies, while repenting and whole-heartedly wanting to be set free....it is quite another to be actively involved in such a lifestyle, without repentance....if you are of the former type, there is every chance you are heading to heaven....either way you can be sure of one thing : God is not so judgmental as one of those "holy" elder/pastors who run churches, while sitting on high horses....Jesus understands you and He loves you.....

This is the great debate currently going on.

First, religion has always taken the position that women are second class citizens. Recently the American Angelican Church made a woman a Bishop/Cardinal type and they fear repercussions from the main Church of England.

Blacks were considered animals or savages or heathens. Even when converted they were segregated in the balcony.

Women who picked herbs were burned at the stake or drowned in rivers as witches.

Infidels who don't covert get their heads lopped off.

This is the history of organized relgion.

It is said God has a plan for everyone. If that is true (and science is starting to find some proofs that homosexual inclinations are Genome related, but nothing has been proven, but the Genome does dictact when your hair turns white, when you go into puberty, if you get acne, when you start becomign suseptible to cancer and probably when your body organs will start to fail) then God made a person homosexual. Why? Is it for a reason? I have no answers. Maybe it's to see if we obey the bible and kill them or oustrize them, but is that a good God? Maybe it's to see if we are compasonate, tolerant, etc.

Does God make "defective" babeis? Blind, mute, deaf, Downs babies? Is that part of God's plan? We then call these "special children." Their parents generally love them far deeper than if they weren't so special. Maybe that's why God made them, so see how others feel about them.

Are we ready to question if it is or isn't a part of the plan?

Does anyone really want to QUESTION God's WILL?

All relgions oppose sexual activities outside of marriage. Even among Heteros. It's called fornication and there are at least 500 citations in the Bible against it, including one from Jesus who said "to keep from being a fornicator all men should marry." (Someone should mail the Pope that quote.)

(Part of the great debate is should the Church marry Gays, thus sanctifying sex within a homosexual union. On that one, I think we can all agree it should be up to the individual Church to decide and then face God's judgement down the line for that decision. Every Church has a right to refuse marriage because, for example, one person isn't a Church member or is from another religion. This should not apply to non-religious unions sanctified by the state. That state should do what is "right" at the ultimate level, even if the Church chooses not to be "right.")

Do you know how many fornicators go to church on Sunday! Are they in God's good graces?

Go look up the church marriage records and then check the first birth records, see if it's full term and 8 1/2 to 9 months later, not 6 months full term after marriage. If so, the church married fornicators!

Does that mean the church is sanctifying fornicators?!

One of my arguments to religious people goes like this:

You have people at your church, Baptised, they attend each week, they sit there sing the songs, read the bible, then go out and have a wild time the rest of the week, fornicate, smoke some pot, do some kinky sex and go back to church on Sunday and praise Jesus.

Then you have a homosexual, who realizes what they are and reads the Bible and worries, so they never act on their feelings. They never kiss anyone, never do sex, they go to church, they pray to God to make them "Normal" like everyone else (listed in the previous paragraph). When a house burns down, they take the family in, feed them, give them a place to sleep.

Now, who does God take into heaven? The phoney Christian who dances their *** off on Saturday and prays to God on Sunday or the homosexual who stays celebate and tries to live a good christian life or neither?

If God can't see that tree from the forrest, God's going to have to explain that one to me in terms I can understand, or I think I'd rather become an Atheist!

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

That is the word of God. If you truly give you life over. He will change your desires. Because to be a christian means to be Christ like. You will never be sin free, but you will be covered in the blood of Jesus. When you truly love something you will want to become whatever it ask of you. And the bible says that is an abomination to yourself and to God. So read you bible and apply it to yourself. May God bless you.

God has given you a cross to bear. He would not have given the cross to you if you could not do it.

People are made the way God made them. You can't change who you are. Play your hand with the cards you are dealt because you can't get new cards.

The type of Christianity you are used to sounds harsh, unloving and unaccepting. I would say find another type.

Many people think that Catholicism is against gays but it is not. It recognizes that people are born into a certain state, that they are children of God and that gays have as much chance as going to heaven as anyone else. Catholicism advocates that gays live celibate lives, however ultimately it teaches that you have to follow your own conscious. The point is - you arn't hated just for being gay like some other christian religions do.

You were not made just to be damned.

God loves you and accepts you. Don't pay attention to haters.

God does love everyone. Even Christ, while haning on the cross forgave those who were crucifying Him. The thing people get confused is that God Hates the sin, not the people. Everyone sins. before I came to Christ, I was into heavily into drugs, alcohol, pronography, prostitution, and all kinds of mess. The thing is that Romans 5:8 tells us "...that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." this means we dont need to get cleaned up before we come to Him. Come Now. All people are welcome, we just have to leave our sin behind. It is a choice. Do I choose to live with Christ/God or do I choose my sin?

Unfortuantely, there are too many "Christians" who walk in religion rather than a relationship with Him. Bottom line is you do have to make a decision to live for Him or live for yourself. He loves us enough to give us that free will.

The bible may state that it is a sin to be homosexual ... but the bible was written by a bunch of MEN, not by Christ. The concept of hell was invented as a way to control the masses, so don't take it seriously. God created you; and He would not have created an imperfect being. Love yourself for who you are and enjoy life.

I'm not sure, because I think that it is counted as a sin - but then again, the bible does state that all males must be circumcised... well times change. God loves you for who you are, so don't try and pretend to be anything you're not and I'm sure all will be fine. As Spike Wilbury said, God DOESN'T discriminate. As long as you're a good person God will love you

That all depends. Do you intend to continue that life style? The inclination that way is a temptation you will have to resist if you intend to walk with Christ. Which is more important to you Christ or a girlfriend?
God Bless and Peace to you,
Debra

Not excepting you because you LOVE (<---focusing on that word) your same sex. That's very shallow!! You can rest easy that GOD is not a shallow being!! GOD is love whether between a man and women or a man and man etc. How can GOD hate himself. You will get there (heaven) before a lot of people who judge you!! Good Luck!
