Jesus came to this Earth not for the righteous but for the sinners.A healthy person does not need a doctor but a sick person does. When a sinner like you or me repents from the bottom of our hearts there is much rejoice in heaven. You will definetely be saved and so will I.

Please understand this: Jesus knew that you would stray long before He accepted you the first time. There is no way to lose your salvation. If you repent, (ask for forgiveness and turn away from what is not pleasing to Him), He is faithful to forgive you. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. With the exception of Jesus, there has never been a person that did not sin. That means even your pastor has gone through what you are going through right now.

If you spoke your heart in your question you have been saved. Jesus doesn't expect anything because we are human and will fall short of the glory of God. Jesus didn't die on the cross to shed our sins but rather to carry them so we wouldn't have to. By asking Jesus to forgive your sins and asking Him into your life and into your heart, you have been written into the book of life. Live the best you can knowing that there will be times when you will fall and know that those will be the times that Jesus will lift you up.

Hey Jenna!
The reason Christ was crucified was for you and I! He stands at the door and knocks. YOU have to open that door, He does not force His love onto us. He loves enough to give us that choice! He is already in your life, or you would not be so concerned. The world that goes on around us that is without God's love leading them, ie, corporations etc. It is all about the money and not the person. Not to mention our "friends" saved or not. It is VERY difficult, but not impossible. If you are dealing with so called "friends", then you will find that they are really hard to find. A GOOD friend unless they are Christians, believers, etc. Your values are just too different for the "main stream" folks out there who are only about themselves. Not that you should NOT have unsaved friends. I think that it would be difficult not to. You sound like you are DEFINATELY grounded, even though you may have strayed from putting God first. He understands. Just keep coming back to Him for help and Love. His love is NEVER ENDING. He loves YOU! I know a great BIBLE to read it is the New Believer's Bible. I have lent mine out many times. It is the only version that I have actually gotten through and have read a few times. It is an easy read and it has footnotes that are sooo simple to follow. It could really Bless you and you continuous Faith in our Heavenly Father. And trust me girlfriend. I end up "living my life" and sometimes forget to INVITE God along for the ride. I know that He is always there, but sometimes when problems arrive I am soooo busy trying to take care of it that I actually forget to ask Him to help until I am at my witts end. He knows I can be a dork, but that is OK! Cuz He is ALL LOVING and ALL FORGIVING! He loves me and I love Him~
As far as you sound to me like you are Heaven bound. So relax. If you are trying and have Faith in God. He chose YOU to be who you are, then it is OK. HE loves YOU! Ask and you shall recieve. But you have to listen to the "inner voice" it is called a conscience too. Don't fight what it tells you....He wants you to listen and heed His advice. You may think that it is actually you doing the thinking but if you ask God to lead you, then He will and you MUST listen. Try and Pray about it. If you care then He will take care of you! I am on my 2nd marriage and feel like a fool. Like I said before, I always HAD God with me. But I didn't even invite Him officially to the wedding. I hate that I was like that. And even though my 2 marriage (they are15 years apart), I still did not invite him, maybe that is why this marriage is not working out also. Who knows? If there is a next time. HE IS already the first on the list to be there!!!!!!
I hope some of this helped.

God Bless us all!
Just a fellow Christian....
and remember, we ALL struggle. It is OK~
Bekki~

Yes! Yes! You will be saved if you continue to follow Him on a daily basis, praying, reading His Holy Word, and asking for Him to keep your mind pure and Lovely by filling you with His Holy Spirit. You must not hold back anything from The Lord. Surrender your whole heart to Him.Pray the prayer Jesus gave us in Luke 11-2. Read on through the 11th chapter of Luke and pay close attention to verses 9-11. For more reassurance read in Psalm 78, pay close attention to verses 38 and 39. It is wise to Pray to God to give you understanding before you start reading the scriptures. Join a Bible study group if you feel that you need help as you should read the Bible from the beginning to the end if at all possible. Look for Christian friends judge them by God's Word, Gal.5:-19-24, and be patient and ask God to help you. I know this works as when I was young(much older now) I found myself at the same place you are, wanting my childhood faith back and wondering if I would ever truly feel forgiven. God's Love and mercy is free and it is only by the grace of God, that I can proclaim this to you today! So rejoice in it delight in it! Thank Him for it. I am thankful that I had loving parents and friends that revealed this to me, but that was only by the grace of God, so it is by the Grace of God that I am prayfully passing it on to you. May God bless you is my earnest prayer.

I do not know about Issa (Jesus) (peace be upon him) able to forgive you or not, but God is the MOST forgiving. That's a good thing that you seek forgiveness, but you should rephrase your question. It's God you want to seek forgiveness from, not Issa (p.b.u.h).

Maybe you've confined yourself to one faith only. And keeping faith in one is not a bad thing. But you must seek truth. Read the Holy Quran once, think over your convictions about Islam. Often, those are Muslims who spread terror, not Islam. Christianity can not be held accountable for the deeds of a few Christians' ill-deeds. Likewise, Islam can not be held accountable for the misdeeds of a few Muslims.

I call you to accept Islam as a true religion. For entering the serene world of Islam, you just have to proclaim that "There is no god but Allah, and Mohammad is His prophet". Islam respects all the prophets of earlier religions as well, and you'd never hear anything blasphemous against those holy prophets from any Muslim, coz they were sent by Allah as well. Their teachings were modified to a great extent by infidels, so Allah sent his last messenger, Muhammad (SAW), to rid His religion of polytheism. Only Allah is the sole Beneficent, the most Merciful.

I know you might have heard many blasphemous stories about Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), but what do you expect from the people who ridicule their own prophets in movies and cartoons, wouldn't that be easy for such people to ridicule the prophet of another faith?

I'm all ears for you if you have any questions regarding Islam. I've done my duty to call you upon accepting the true faith. I'm free now!

You can't totally maintain yourself from the world. We are human, we make mistakes. The best thing you can do is to acknowledge that, repent for your actions and learn from them.
Hebrews 8:12 says; ..."For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more" Check Out 1 John 1: 5-10. It says...
God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS, HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST AND WILL FORGIVE US OUR SINS AND PURIFY US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. If we claim we have not sinned we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.

Basically, if we stick with Jesus, he purifies all our sins. The cool thing about Him, is that he won't even remember them once He forgives you. He could, but he chooses not to. You ask if you will go to heaven if you continue to do what you are supposed to do. All you have to do is love Him. Committ yourself, not to this world but to the will of God. Romans 10:9 says;
That if you confess with you mouth, ''Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
It's like that. Once you have salvation, saving grace, you will always be saved. If you remember your promise to God, he will remember his promise to you. And that is to have eternal life, with him.
He loves you and always will.
I hope that helped you and may you be blessed. I hope God reveals himself to you so that you know he is still there, caring for you.
...Krystal...

Jesus will love you for who you are. If you have already been saved then you need to re-commit your life to Christ and he will forgive you. If you have never been saved you have to ask Jesus in your heart. If you want to talk more, contact me.

accept he does.
the idea is that you gradually grow in jesus once you have accepted jesus and that over time you will be made more in god's image than you were before.
as far as being better, or acting more appropriately than you once did, that will take time. it takes a committment. but you can't expect a behavioral miracle overnight.

Romans 10:9-10 says, "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved". I think that answers some of your questions. We have to realize that "doing what we supposed to do" does not get us into heaven. It is faith. If man (or women) could get to heaven by themselves (through works), there would be no need for God to send his son. It is my opinion that works are a by product of our faith. We do "what we are suppose to do" because we love God and not because we are trying to earn His love. He already loves us.
It sounds like you want the close relationship with Jesus that you once had. When I feel like that, I am reminded that Jesus never moved (pulled away) it was me. Keep in mind that us has to find our own way back, but some things that have helped me in the past have been praying and reading my Bible on a consistent basis (daily) and finding a good support network which for me was a good group of friends that share the same beliefs. That’s why (in my opinion) going to church is so important. We need to stay connected to the church body for love, support and growth.
The last thing I want to point out to you is that everybody struggles. Everybody! We are sinners and sin is with in us. We have a tendency to do the exact opposite of what we want or are suppose to do. I am not going to pretend to know the magnitude of your struggles but I will say Jesus is the way. Read the scripture about the Apostle Paul from Romans 7.

"14The law is good, then. The trouble is not with the law but with me, because I am sold into slavery, with sin as my master. 15I don't understand myself at all, for I really want to do what is right, but I don't do it. Instead, I do the very thing I hate. 16I know perfectly well that what I am doing is wrong, and my bad conscience shows that I agree that the law is good. 17But I can't help myself, because it is sin inside me that makes me do these evil things.

18I know I am rotten through and through so far as my old sinful nature is concerned. No matter which way I turn, I can't make myself do right. I want to, but I can't. 19When I want to do good, I don't. And when I try not to do wrong, I do it anyway. 20But if I am doing what I don't want to do, I am not really the one doing it; the sin within me is doing it.

21It seems to be a fact of life that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. 22I love God's law with all my heart. 23But there is another law at work within me that is at war with my mind. This law wins the fight and makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. 24Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin?[c] 25Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God's law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin."

So you see, somebody as "studly" as Paul struggled too. I hope this helped some and I will pray for you.
