You're the kind of naive moron that thinks a person can only fully understand something if he's been through it-- bull$h!t. But you've never lived in an isolationist country that's sat by passively while other nations plotted to take them out/over. I wish you had, though, because you'd then realize that our failure to engage in WWII led to an attack on US soil in Pearl Harbor, and the reason global communism, Russia's stated goal during the Cold War, isn't in effect is because we were ready and willing to nuke, even though we knew it might lead to WWIII.

You see, we don't exist in a vaccuum like that sandbox you play in, toy. We have to deal with reality, not the quixotic notions a high school debate team. And for you to wish harm on another so that you might save others from war is precisely the premise nations go to war on-- sacrificing some so that the rest might reap the benefits.

You're a f--king toy. I didn't want to dignify your question with a response, but you're too much of a coward to leave contact info on your Avatar screen. So go back to the swingset, Johnny, the grown-ups are talking. Okay, bye-bye.

So if you wish for war supporters to loose some member of their family. Ain't that a little harsh for the person who is going to die. Because they are related to someone who supports the war. Maybe you need to grow up a little. Always be careful what you wish for. It just might come true for you and yours.

What a horrible thing to say. My husband has been in the Navy for over 6 years. Thats 6 years that he has fought so you have the right to say such things. But it is also 6 years that he has given up for our country, time lost with our family and kids, he has missed so much in the last 6 years of watching his children grow up.
If you are an American or in the US you need to leave. If not keep your mouth shut as you have no right to say such things about my family and the families of millions of other military members.

What is the matter with you? Did you lose a family member in Iraq? I can't imagine the hate fullness coming from you. If you are an example of those that do not support the war then I guess you cannot call yourselves peaceful huh? You my dear are a hate monger. I sincerely hope that love finds its way into your heart and you find peace.

I am a supporter of our mission there & I have served in combat & I have lost several good friends. Lost a kid I knew from when he was 12, taught him to march & love the military. He join the Marines when he graduated. He was found floating in the Tigris river & I was in his mom's living room with her crying on my shoulder. I've trained many more just like him, plus the others I know from my direct service, and most have been or are now in combat. Don't think I haven't cried, but I still support the war. We're not hypocrits.

That's very mean of you to wish pain like that on someone. I am anti-war, and I would never wish someone to lose a family member in a war. I wish that all of the politicians that were so quick to send other people's children into war would be willing to send their own. Many of them were asked and they said no. That's not even a question anyway...geez your hateful.

Every American has lost someone, in our history. Family or Friend, It is the price we have paid for being the greatest nation on the earth in the last 200+ years. It is for that reason we are Americans. We still have many social issues to work out, but would you rather live in IRAQ, IRAN,or Somalia?

You should not wish that on your worst enemy, the loss of a family member is hard enough, the way we are deploying reserve units means that many small towns have lost multiple people. We need to remember how to disagree in this country without personal ugliness to each other.

Well maybe that would equal less support for war. I don't support it personally but i accept it as part of being human. For some reason our species just cant get a long, there has always been war, and probably will be till someone finally nukes and we all die.. simple

First off ! Soldiers, Families, and People in general do not support war they support our TROOPS. And when one gives the ultimate sacrifice we feel the pain not only for that brave soldier and their family , but for ourselves as their extended military family. Remember nowadays it is a volunteer army, not drafted.
I regret your loss, and send condolences your way. But to wish pain on another does no good for your healing. May God forgive your anger and Bless you. From ARMY WIFE
