Ok I know if I plead not guilty they recall the day and call the cop if he does not show up I get away but if he does show up can I plead guilty or no contest then. I know I was speeding and I am just trying to get out of it

yes you can still make him have to show up..then change your plea..

the best thing you can do is go a head and plead all your going to do is prolong the trial a little. If you are under 21 though and you were going either 15 to 20 mile over the speed limit you could possibly lose your license but as far as getting out of it that is almost impossible the cop will show up. Plead no contest so the charge want be as much

yes, he will show up. The best thing to do is call a service that handles traffic tickets. It will cost you about the same amount of money but they get the office reduced to a non-moving violation and will not affect your driving record and as such your insurance rates. I run a Courier service in St. Louis and my drivers use this practice almost daily.

If you are guilty, shouldn't you own up to your mistake? Take responsibility for your action? What kind of an example are you setting for your children (if any)?

I had 2 and just paid them, I was guilty and I deserved what I got.
