I have asked questions with no real answers just to see what happens. It's interesting to watch people's responses! Sure, why not annoy the heck out of people?! A day's not a normal day without some annoying element!

For the majority I believe that most of the questions a ligit but then you do get the occasional glory hog who will ask ANY thing just to score a point and to see if they can get someone going.
And let us not forget the ones who do not have the knowledge to "" ANSWER "" with an intellegent and acceptable response.
Far be it for me to leave out the "" ONES "" with the DUMB answers

as a self certified genius i find all questions annoying because they demonstrate a lack of intelligence. the real dumbquestions are those which have been answered, check the resolved Q section before asking"what is meaning of life" for the 100000 time. or when the answer is easily found on the net.
when i don't get 10 points for imparting with my wisdom i get very upset too. love to chat but trying to find out what colour an orange is

No question is a dumb question. Usually people who are annoyed think they know everything and think others are the same.
