No I don't think prostitution should be "banned" at all. It has been around for a long long time and will be around for a long long time. Criminalizing it is just plain senseless if both are consenting adults... leave them alone for goodness sake!

I think there was a band in the late '70's called the Prostitutes and ironically it was a bunch of guys... go figure. Why, you're a rocker and want to start your own head-banging band and call yourselves the Prostitution?
Go for it... you'll make millions just from curious people not knowing what the F you are...

No but it should be controlled. My main reason is because I actually think that prostitutes serve an important role in society. I can't imagine a society with men having sexual urges and being unable to either have a partner to satisfy them with or without money. I think more women would be raped it there were no prostitutes.

Prostitution has been around for thousands of years. It always will be regardless of whether it is banned or not. In the UK it is illegal for prostitution but they still do it. I think it should be legalised so that the brothels can be checked, all staff must be health checked. It would also stop girls getting forced into it.

If we have to talk about morals and principles, then yes prostitution should be banned.
If we are talking about sexually transmitted diseases which includes a non-curable virus like HIV/AIDS, then yes prostitution should be banned.
If again should we talk about women who are in prostitution and they get murdered, raped, and battered just for being a prostitute then yes prostitution should be banned.
If we should talk about the law, which banned prostitution then my dear yes prostitution again should be banned.
Nothing good comes out of prostitution, it only brings suffering. So you still want to debate about such a dispeakable thing? then think again.

No, I think it should be legalized and regulated. You will never get rid of it, but you could make it a lot safer for the girls by getting them off the streets and you can make it safer for the guys by having the department of health regulate the health of the girls.

It should be governmentally controlled.
That way, the prostitutes are always clean and disease free.
