Nope. Each Windows CD is licensed for use on only one PC. Because of the way Windows XP does online activation, if you installed it on a second PC, when it dials MS to activate, it will find that the serial number has already been used and refuse to activate. After 14 days (for Windows XP Home) it will stop working on the second PC. So if you have two PCs, you will have to purchase two copies of Windows to keep it legal.

Tanya H is correct..... I think. I know it was about 3 years ago you could legally install the same XP on a laptop and a desktop because I did it. That might have changed. Here's a toll-free number for Microsoft Tech Support. Ask for the licensing section.

Nope! but thier is a way!(say no to piracy)
You can buy a Paper Licence. This means u only one box(CD)and a key but u can use the same CD and key on ur other computer.
This is more sencible than buying two CDs', which will cost u more.
But please dont' buy pirated CDs!
