Try the Breathright strips, they usually help. Either that or try sending him to a sleep clinic to see what is causing the snoring.

Snoring can be caused by being overweight. He may stop snoring by losing weight.
I snored as bad as your husband and my wife had the same problems. I did to a sleep study and found that my blood-oxygen level went down to 89%. They prescribed a CPAP machine for me and it has stopped my snoring now for years.
CPAP means Constant Positive Airflow Pressure. (It blows air into my nose all night.) The air pressure keeps my soft palate open and keeps me from snoring.
You'll sleep better and HE WILL TOO. Not just because you won't be waking him to stop snoring, but because snorers do not sleep well, they are sleepy and are dangerous driving cars while sleepy.
If losing weight is too slow or not an option, INSIST that he see an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist about snoring and most likely, he will be tested and prescribed a CPAP as I was.
There are few things that a wife is actually justified in nagging their husband about and health issues that could save his life is one. GET TO NAGGING!

When my husband snored so much we went to the doctor. They did a sleep test on him and found out he has sleep apnia. He would actually stop breathing. He has a machine now that blows air into him when he sleeps. You may save his life by considering this.
