i've never dumped any one in a "silly" way however many years ago i was dumped by my ex thru her mate who told me she had moved to brazil with work and had hated me for ages. the tart

Yeah, I was really young and stupid and I dumped my boyfriend in the worst possible way. I waited till he came to visit me and then when I left the room for a while I got my girl friend (who was pretending that she thought we were just friends) to casually mention to him that my ex-boyfriend had been to visit the day before and that we had got back together. The poor guy just went along with it and pretended that we'd just been friends and didn't mention it the rest of the visit. But I never heard from him again!

Once I asked for a divorce over the phone. But it was because my (ex) husband was not in the country, and I didn't want him to be in my life when he came back.
I don't think that's silly, actually...
My husband (current) had a girl break up with him with a text message sent from her new boy-toy's cell phone.
The new boy-toy sent him a text saying "She doesn't think she wants to see you anymore"
That was pretty silly, and lame.

I've wrote a note to a guy before to dump him. Also dumped a guy by email. But then again, I'm an a*s.

Yes, i dumped this one guy for cheating on me with some ugly fat chic. When he called me (from his friends house) he started talking to me and i just said "J it's over and hung up on him. Then two seconds later, he called back and said "why did you hang up?" then i said "because it's over bye!"and hung up again. Then the dumb **** ended up calling me back (again) and saying "well i didn't say it was over" then i said "well i did" and hung up. He still calls me and tries to get me to go back out with him but i keep saying no because if they cheat on you once they will more than likely do it again. Besides i didn't have that much feelings for him anyway.

I sent a text, then the man in question rang me up to give out to me for dumping him by text! That shows what an eejit he was!!

Yup via SMS (text message). That was silly but we formalized the break-up face-to-face after a couple of days. I'm FREE since then...yipee! :-P

I have done it with a partner whom i did not love. He stupid me with so much of money and at the end of the day, i saw someone that i love more than him, i stop calling him on his phone and the day he mistakenly called me i told him i've got whom i love deeply. So forget about me!

I wouldn't call it dumping. It has to be a mutual decision. Thankfully, I've never encountered those alien partners who refuse to leave you.
