Don't go there in the first place. What a shitty thing to do to someone. Ring up and explain and cancel the date but have some humanity and say why but let them down gently. That would be a double whammy. But cancelling it in the first place may hurt but you can't avoid that - but you can avoid humiliation and you will regret that for the rest of your life so why do it.???

Yeah i did once years ago. The guy was a total bore and i was embarassed by the way he treated the waitresses, like he was trying to impress me by complaining about the food, drink, atmosphere etc. At the end of the meal he proceeded to pick up his plate, lick it clean, then reach for mine and did the same with it. I got up, went to the toilet and didn't return. What an ar*e !

Yep. I was taken to a French restaurant by my boyfriend. We hadn't been seeing each other very long. He suddenly did the whole proposal on one-knee routine and produced a diamond ring.

haha, one foot in front of the other is good!! Yeah some dates are so not right. I just got up and said you know this is so not going good and I just left. =) Felt a little guilty but it was better than being w/ what's his nuts all night!

it wasn't really a date but this guy asked my friend to go out for a drink one afternoon she worked in a shop and he kept coming in and buying stupid stuff just to talk to her she finally agreed to go 4 a drink with him but wanted me to go with her so i did. he was so boring it was funny he went to the toilet and that's when we made a quick exit! we started walking up the town and had to dive into a shop because he was in the phone box trying to ring her! we nearly got caught but he was that stupid didn't c us! finally after about 45mins of trying to ring i think he got the message cause he never went back into her shop!

I told him i had to go to the Restroom. I called my sister on her cell and told her to call me in 5 min. Since i told him i breed toy poodles and my poodle was pregnant. My sis called and he answered it real quick and my sis said hurry she is having the puppies. i was like rushing and he totally believed it.

it was at a dance and i was very drunk. I said that I'd call a taxi. She went to the bathroom and I got in the taxi and left. I STILL FEEL GUILTY 5YRS LATER
