Do you have a sunroof? I had a civic that had a similar issue, turned out the sunroof has drains that were clogged...never knew they had drains. I had the shop go ahead and take care of it, so can't tell you where the drains are...but it solved my problem.

Do get rid of the dampness in the car I used a wet/dry shop vac and picked up a product at Bed Bath and Beyond that was a little tub that would pull the moisture from the car. A similar product is available at Home Depot. I can't remember the name, but someone at either store should be able to help you.

Wind the windows up??Just kidding! Check to see that the seal around your winscreen is 100%. Sometimes water flows in there and runs along the inside body until it hits the carpet and starts to stink up the show after a while. Look for rust bubbles that are lifting the seal area or the likes. Also check that all seals aroung wiring, heating and cooling pipes running through your firewall are in place, water can get through there!

If all this other stuff fail,s try checking the history on the car,,and see if it was ever wrecked,,if it was they might have not sealed a seam back up good enough,,this often happen,s with car,s,,also check and see if your air conditioner drain pipe is clear and has no debris in it,,this will cause one to leak,,and it will about drive you nut,s trying to find it,,Hope this help.s some.
