I think it is a personal preference. We just got back from our honeymoon. We went on a cruise for 7 days. It went to Cozumel, Mexico; Ocho Rios; and Grand Cayman. It was absolutely fantastic. I would recommend doing a cruise to anyone, we had a great time, it wasn't terribly priced and you got to visit more then one place.

Go on a cruise. The best places are Grand Cayman, Key West Florida, Co Co Cay, and Cozumel Mexico. I have been to these places and they are great. In fact, for my honeymoon my husband and I took a 5 day cruise to Key West & Cozumel with the Carnival cruise line. Also Royal Caribbean is great! I've cruised with them twice. Just go someplace where you are safe, have privacy, and lots of fun! Cruises are a good deal as far as money. The price is reasonable & the food is included and everyone is friendly. Also, you get to meet people from all over. There are many things to do without even leaving the boat including watching shows, dining, swimming, shopping, etc.

I know its so popular but we went o Hawaii and it was so beautiful. We have been to lots of islands in the Carribean and they are nothing in comparison. Plus Hawaii is far from most people, you probably won't make it there often which makes it even more special.
We have also been on cruises, I don't know, I don't feel like we had as much privacy because you are on the ship with so many people.
I have heard great things about all-inclusive Sandals resorts and The Palace resorts in Mexico. Had 2 friends go to these for their honeymoons and they said it was fabulous.

Go to Disney in Florida, for 5 to 6 days, hit all the parks with Universal Studios, then take a 7 night cruise from one of the many ports FLA has to rest and relax from the Disney trip.

Go to Montreal, Canada - wonderful hotels, quaint B&B's and romance everywhere; also, fabulous shopping, a casino and great sightseeing.
