For the obvious reasons, it's great being single, but don't you find you start to miss the comfort of being in a relationship?
After 2 years of "singularity" (although often filled with great fun!), there's nothing more I want right now than to cosy down with a cool girl that I can share everything that is me with.
And yet, meeting the right person is so damn hard...
I'm only 29 but sometimes I wonder whether maybe I'm one of those destined to drift through life with only flirting encounters.
Know what I mean?

have you ever heard the expresion"You have to be a friend to have a friend". Women can tell when a guy is seeking to find someone. I know that is hard to find someone in this day and time. Try to find someone that interest you. Don't always base your preference on looks. Start out by being friends.Spend time together with no pressure to date. That is a good way to get to know someone. No sexual contact or pressure.Sex always changes your relationship. If you can be friends then you have found someone to try and bring your relationship up one level with them.Do you know a girl that has the same interest in sports or art or what ever you like. And try to be honest in a relationship.Always speak your mind with love not sarcasm. I my self always found love when I wasn't looking for it!

I'm sure that for some being single is "all that." Single to me is cooking for one, laughing at my favorite shows with an empty room to laugh with, a cat to keep me warm at night and depending on my memory to get the trash out. By far what I miss the most is knowing that she is there when I get home from work. Walking the halls of the home we bought together with all the memories screaming in every corner is enough to drive you insane. I do miss being attached. You can sleep around but that never takes the place of the stability that a special person can give you.

Don't be so eager to jump into a relationship, because right now you are talking like a guy who is already getting set in his ways, notice you said 'a cool girl that I can share everything that is ME with" you did not say WE could do things together....You will never find a woman to do anything but flirt with because women have a radar, and they can see the 'bachelor...set in his ways' tattoo that is right across your forehead !!!
So think about changing your perception and attitude and the girls will stay.

yeah i know exactly what you mean, i feel the same way man and i will admit that i want the companionship of being with a woman, i really have no one to spend time with and i have been single for little over a year now. i still haven't found the right person yet and i really want to, but i guess when the right woman comes she will come, it just takes patience ya know, so don't feel bad because your not the only one out there.

Yes i do it's very nice to have a partner who you can share everything with and knows you almost better than you do yourself but some people start to believe they aren't meant to find the right person and they give up before they even start looking, if you really don't want to be alone, finding the right girl is all up to you, so get of your bum and start looking!! Good luck

The pleasure of being single is some thing else, as you would be saved from all the family life problems making most of your life hell. Enjoy flirting till you can.

I know exactly what you mean but I don't think anything is coming my way anytime too soon so I just party hard in the meanwhile.
