I am living under a hell of pressure and big loads of anxiety beside the fact that I am having OCD. Is it possible that I might lose my mind or develop a serious psychotic illness?

YES this can cause you all kinds of problems. I had the same thing but woulden do anything to ease the stress and the anxiety or the depression. So one day i was working and out of no where My mind just shut down. I don't mean i forgot what I was doin I mean it shut down. I was took to the hospital and I guess they tryed asking me things but i was told that i coulden even respond to my name. All i remember is that when i did come out of it I felt like i had been sleeping for about 2 hours. But in fact i had been out for 4 days diden seem like it to me but it had been 4 days. When I came out of it I diden know where I was and was looking around to see if I could find someone to tell me what happened. I don't remember anything for that 4 days. I was sleeping I thought But then I looked down and I was in a diaper had no ideal why! So the Dr. came in and we talked and he told me that I had a mental shut down. He ask me all kinds of questions like what I was feeling and I just told him it was like i had been sleeping because that all I could remember. I was released from the hospital about a week later. So yes it can lead to worse things than you mite think. I would see Dr. now if it getting to you the way you say it is or you mite end up in a hospital like i did

Well, not really. However, you could "break down" from all of the pressure. You need to really designate some time for yourself so that you can do something you enjoy and that relaxes you somewhat.

Besides, what good is life, if it's just full of anxiety and rules? I know it's hard and there's never enough time in a day, but give yourself 30 minutes to meditate or run or read a magazine every day. It helps.

Just keep your head on straight while you deal with this. Remember the facts: Supernatural things don't happen, Religion doesn't affect people in the way you describe, and your thoughts are somewhat in your control. Your brain often tries to fool you with things you don't know for sure, but just remember that you KNOW those three things are true. They are considered true by the outside world as well as yourself at your sanest, so when your brain tries to tell you otherwise, remember that its just your brain trying to fool you. As for the medication, cut back, get more, or do something about it. generally change your medication in some way or another and see what results you get. get therapy and ideally try not to rely on medication to live a healthy life. the dumber and slower part definitely sounds like a result of the medication. do your own research instead of letting a doctor turn you into a human guinea pig. stop smoking marijuana. i'm not anti-drugs by any means, but speaking from experience; if your head is messed up in the first place weed can only make it unimaginably worse despite how benign it seems. most of all, a solution is on its way. just be strong while you're trying to find it. ps. don't listen to this religious fool above me, all this bullshit about satan is exactly the sunday school scarelore that's making you insane. SATAN ISN'T REAL HE IS A PRODUCT OF OUR IMAGINATION. he is a fictional character, the anthropomorphic personification of what we perceive as evil. he exists only in christianity, a fraction of the myriad of human belief systems. you might as well blame thor or zeus for your problems.

If you have a severe case, you are in a potential state to have a nervous breakdown. You become so overwhelmed and "over loaded" your body just shuts down. This requires hospital admit and much work to overcome.

I suggest you immediately seek help and advice. There are support groups and even medicines available for this problem.

Please do so before you become so overwhelmed you either have a breakdown, or worse, try to kill yourself. You can enjoy life if you get the help you need. GOOD LUCK!

Yes. Get counselling, reduce your stress (stress is the number one killer in today's society) , change jobs if you have to, increase your quiet time, sacred space, and enhance your spirituality, go to church, do prayer, meditation, (thank Him for what He 'has' done in your life, Humbly ask Him to engage a sense of peace within you.)

Start Yoga.
Go to an energy center near you, and have Reiki done.

Don't necessarily allow a psychiatrist to give you a whole list of drugs which may be unnecessary. One or two may be ok. Most psychiatrists get script happy and most drugs do more harm than good.

Blessings, and be well on your journey.

ocd and anxiety disorder are serious illnesses in their own right. any untreated mental illness, will put you at risk for a breakdown. seek treatment now. talk with a dr, about behavior modification, cognitive therapy, and the possibility of medication. a combination of treatments listed above is your best chance at recovery.

You can't think clearly being under that much pressure.. Ever heard of counseling. There are wonderful medicines for anxiety. You don't have to suffer. Medication and counseling work hand in hand.
