if he won't answer then your a bit stuck and i can understand how worried you must feel. if your going to stay with someone who has depression you're going to need some support yourself. you need back up and strategies to cope. in the uk MIND is a charity that supports people and their carers. have a look online to see if they have a contact near you. even tho he's not well try to remember that 99% of what we worry about doesn't happen and he does know you are there for him. Be brave it will be ok.

I have suffered with depression for awhile, I am sure by the time you get this you may have already talked to him. Sometimes, unfortunately, men who don't want to be bothered at the time will not answer the phone or text. They need time to think. Sometimes they need space. If he is going through a depressed time usually a person will leave hints to the problem to get some kind of support. Don't worry. I am sure he is fine.

Do you live far from each other? If not, go pay him a visit. You say he's depressed, he might just feel too down to pick up teh phone. You say you are depressed too so it might be a good idea to tell him that, refusing to answer the phone, reply to your texts is causing you to worry a lot more than you can cope with.
Right now, as you worry about your boyfriend ... You should worry about yourself and speaking to him face to face seems the easiest, quickest solution to put you mind at ease.
Best wishes

Your best speaking with his parents, or a close friend and asking them to ring him. He might not feel like speaking to you at the moment, if he is depressed he might just not be answering the phone to you as he knows your worried about him
He might answer his mum/dad/brother etc etc. At least you will know he is safe then. A co dependant relationship is very hard, if you both suffer with depression, im afraid to say he might not be worth it in the long term. Why be in the relationship?

I too suffer from depression, so I know how you might be feeling. Sounds like he is classicly withdrawing which almost all people with depression do. Since you suffer also it might be difficult to try and help him; although expressing your love and support is always a positive dear!
If he sees a doctor or counselor perhaps you could encourage him to contact them? Don't be hurt if he isn't reaching out because it probably only means he is unable to express himself at this time.
See if family or friends can help with encouraging him to seek help. Hang in there and pray about it. Hope this helps:)

He may have lost it or not have credit. Happened to me before. Just trust him, keep smiling and don't worry. I'm sure he'll be fine, but do go and see him as soon as you can. If he lives a long way away then that will need a bit more planning but I'm sure it can be done.
It's almost certainly nothing serious. If it was bad news you would have heard already.

Did you know that depression is contagious? Why do you even bother with him when he suffers from same problem as you-it reminds me of an alcoholic trying to get sober while having a relationship with a practicing alcoholic-it just doesn't work.

Its not that he doesnt love you. I do the same thing. Men really like quiet time to themselves. like when my brother died a couple weeks ago All I did while I was there on leave for the funeral was just drive around all the old country roads and just wanted to be alone. All you have to do is be patient and he'll come around.

You and your boyfriend must seek professional advice. Depression is serous, cause can take us to suicide. WE need to nurture our spirit and soul, the same way me do with our body...that is why we feel such emptiness inside us, we feel that we don't worth nothing, that anybody loves us, but is our spirit who is seeking for help....
