You must see right away a doctor. Those lumps can be the lymphatic glands that are swollen because you have some kind of infection, or can be something else. Please don't be afraid. Is better to have another surgery that loose your life!

This lump is most probably a lymph node that is in the process of fighting an infection. Sometimes these nodes become tender and as long as you are rubbing it and palpating it gets more painful. Always see a doctor if it does not appear to be subsiding in a day or two.

It could be a swollen lymph node which means you have an infection in your body. It could also be like the first lump you did have 3 years ago. You better see your doctor as soon as possible. You don't have a choice if it needs to be excised. Good luck.

Its probably a swollen lymph node from the sore throat. I asked a question about this a couple of months ago when I had a cold. If its still there three weeks after the throat problem goes away then you can worry.

Sounds to me like either tosilitis or something of the sort. If you ever see anything like that and it is painful or sometimes even if it's not, go to the doctor. Rather safe than sorry.

Be smart, go see a doctor. Ignoring it and hoping it will go away is just plain stupid. You owe it to yourself and those who love you.
