Committment, dedication and total change of behaviour, it's a big ask and people don't understsand that it is really hard but once you are in the zone you can do this.

If you want to do this it is for life so you need to totally change your way of eating and exercising. This is not a diet rather than a healthy eating plan for life. So no more talking diet cause it means time limit. Stop making some major mistakes wake up earlier and get active earlier your metabolism is sluggish and needs to be woken up this is half your problem.

Here are the golden rules:
Initially cut down to 1200 calories.
Exercise 6 times per week for 1 hours a day. Do three weight sessions and three cardio sessions. No gym involved.
Don't eat carbs after 4pm, never eat carbs within 2 hours of exercise or within 1 hour of exercise.
Drink 3 litres of water per day. You can have a green tea at the end of the day.
Limit your fruit in take to 2 pieces per day.
Never eat dinner after 6pm.
Adopt of low GI eating plan this is sustainable for life!
Make low fat dairy choices

Follow this menu plan as a suggestion:
Breakfast 7am - 1 cup hot water w lemon
20 minutes later have a bowel of oats w water (no honey) OR
fruit salad w low GI soy yogurt
Snack 10am - pear or apple (both low GI)
Lunch 12.30pm - multigrain sandwich w 50g tuna & salad (no butter)
Snack 3pm - low GI yogurt OR skim berry smoothie (no honey or banana) plenty of ice, 1/2 cup skim milk & 1/4 cup yogurt
Dinner 5.30pm - 120g grilled lean meat/fish/prawns/tofu patties (not fried) w spinach salad & mixed vegies (no whites, carbs) OR 3 egg white/soy omlette with ham, cheese and tomato
Snack - 1 scoop of low cal low fat ice cream (if hungry)

Exercise is must be intense. Refer to www.bodybuilding.com for your weights routine. Never do weights two consecutive days have a cardio day in between.

Cardio needs to include running, go hard up stair wells and cycling. You get the most benefits from exercise when your body is totally fatigued and this is when you see changes.

To maintain you can increase calories to 1500 and reduce exercise sessions to 3-4 times per week. If weight creeps up again due to holiday period etc.. go back to 1200 cal and 6 sessions again.

How can I lose WAIT - come on, surely you know the difference between wait and weight?
Do you really need to lose weight is the first question I need to ask. Tremendous pressure is put on women and men to achieve the 'body beautiful' ; just look at the pics in the glossy mags - you very rarely see someone who does not look like a stick with clothes on or has the body of an Olympic athlete. As long as there is no medical reason for you to lose weight, then I would say don't bow to peer pressure.

If you are really unhappy with your shape you can do some simple things that will not cost you a fortune and line the pockets of these people who come up with these instant weight loss plans.

Change from reg sodas to diet. Drink and use semi-skimmed milk, cut down on fatty foods - you don't have to quit going to MacDonald's, just don't go so often. Eat as much fruit and veg as you can and try and cut down on sugary foods.

Go for walks rather than take buses or trains, swim if you can, and have a go at cycling to.

Write down your eating and training plan and stick to it - you will see a difference in a few weeks.

1. Go fasting. Don't eat of drink anything for the desired amount of time besides water. You can throw in vegetables if you want. Don't make it too long, though.

2. Start exercising. It's good to go running or jogging in the morning, then eat a healthy, low-fat breakfast.

3. Don't leave calcium out of your diet. You plan might backfire, and you'll end up gaining more weight.

4. Drink lots of water-drink a full glass of water before eating to fill up your stomach a bit, and you won't eat that much. After eating, drink a half-glass of water.

5. Stop drinking soft drinks, and drinks with preservatives in them. Drink water, milk, and fresh fruit juice instead.

6. Learn to play a fun sport. That way, you'll not only be doing it for exercise and for losing weight, but you'll also have fun.

7. If you have a dog, play with it often, and take it on walks. You both get exercise.

8. When you get the urge to have a snack, do anything that will keep your attention from food. Take a nice, relaxing bath. Read a good book. Go swimming. Play your favorite sport. Call a friend, and if they invite you to go eat somewere, say you're busy. Go window shopping.

Losing weight? You have to first get serious about losing weight. Change your eating habits if they are processed foods, junk foods,sodas, etc. Add more grains, whole wheats, fresh or frozen vegetables and fruit to your diet, exercise regularly(at least four days a week). Stay away from diet pills and fake diet solutions. You simply need a plan and to activate the plan.

I know its hard to lose weight but you have to stick to it and do excersice each day just a little but often. If you feel like some thing sweet eat melon or strawberries. Im dieting now and Im doing really well but you have to stick to it and be determined to do it. Eat healthy foods and excersice as much as you can. Good Luck I know its hard but dont forget to treat yourself once every two weeks

A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
The correct way to burn fat and stay healthy is to burn more calories than you consume
You need to make sure you are eating healthy foods while still excercising
If you have a big appetite drink plenty of water so that you will feel full but not consume calories
But you should always eat
If you start to skip meals you will only be more hungry at your next meal and probably eat way too much
Remember, the average persons stomach is as big as a slice of pizza scrunched up into a ball
So you shouldnt be putting more food into your stomach than what fits
Also, it takes aproximately 15-20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are full
so eat slower and you will realize sooner when you are not hungry anymore
