The Holy Spirit is part of the godhead..the pastor is a mortal man trying to be a good person...the difference is whether he has the authority to teach at all and how he got it..

The pastor has the written word of God in his hand, that I can see and hear, which is the Bible. The Holy Spirit is a spirit that will not work in anyone who does not, first, hear the words of God and obey them.

you aren't any further incorrect. regrettably a lot of Christians will use this as an chance to take area-swipes at different Christians. i imagine, the element I always bypass back to, is that the wide-spread tenets are not in dispute. He became born, He healed and He loved, He died for us, He rose back. The Bible even tells us no longer to waste time on unnecessary debate and argument, yet many folk do. yet He speaks to us for my area, and independently because we are all diverse. We then lose a number of that in translation and picture the answer He gave us is the answer he's giving all and distinctive. Why might want to that is? even as it includes the reliability of His note, although - I take it on faith that in His sovereignty, that is written as He wanted it.
