Read the last page of the Holy Bible. What does it say?
Anyone who adds words of.........? to this Book, God will do what?
There is no prophecies today my friend. If they claim it, then go back and read the last page again. Prophecy is done..it ended with the last page of the Bible.
If prophecy did not end, the Bible is a lie. We both know it is not a lie.
Did He not say, people will prophecy in the last days,? Is the coming a false prophet? God didn't say pick the real one. He warned you about the false ones. Prophecy in the Corinth church ended. The Corinth church is not here, that's why you read about it the Bible, otherwise, you would be living it, not reading about it.
It's all in a matter of what you believe. Choice. He warns of worshiping a false doctrine.
Good Question.

No, if it is foretelling the future from ones knowledge of what is going to happen. Yes, if it is forth-telling what is already revealed.
None knows the future except God. But there are incidents when Godly men and women speak of things with a futuristic element. This they do not because they know the future, but they are given that utterance by God and they don't make any claim about it. This is not a regular feature either.

of coarse prophesy occurs today. And of coarse there are hoaxes as well. The bible says that there will be many claiming to be of God who are not. Most don't even know it. Matt 7 quotes Jesus as saying there will be many on judgement day calling out to him saying "lord, did we not do many great things in your name?" and Jesus will reply "Away from me, you worker of iniquity, I never knew you." I feel for the ones who don't believe (those we have failed to relate to), because it is easy to be turned off by all the false teachings that occur. That's why it's so important to read your bible daily, so you'll know what is false teaching. Get into a church that preaches the Gospel, so you can hang out with other believers on a regular basis.
oh yeah... did i answer your question? the answer is yes.

The only "prophecy" that has any accuracy is statistical analysis.
The garbage that is called "prophecy" is people claiming to have predicted events after the fact, and NEVER giving detailed accounts BEFORE they happen.

I believe that God touches our hearts in a way that causes us to see where events and actions are leading, but as this scripture points out our interpretation of this is imperfect. Only when Jesus comes back will we be able to understand perfectly.

Deuteronomy Chapter 4:2
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
WELL THAT SUCKS....I GUESS DUE TO THE LOGIC OF MR. MISTER...THEN WE CAN'T READ PAST DEUTERONOMY 4:2 BECAUSE IT HAS ALL BEEN ADDED TO THE BIBLE THAT CONSISTS FROM GENESIS TO DEUTERONOMY CHAPTER 4.
NOW YOU SEE WHY THE BIBLE CAN'T BE TAKEN LITERALLY AT ALL TIMES..

Depends on who is doing the prophesying.
The Bible is accurate, but some people make it say all sorts of things that the Scripture doesent say.

No... knowledge of the future would give you the power to change it... then it wouldn't be a prophecy anymore would it?
