Does my tea cup poodle thing its a cat?

I have three little kittens and a tea cup poodle.
I had an older cat from the time my poodle came home with us
but its now gone.

The poodle comes with me in the car alot, she jumps in my car everytime i open the door. I think she thinks she is part human, part cat, part dog .
While I was driving I was talking with my daughter and not paying enough attention to my poodle wanting to come join us in the front seat............SHE BEGAN TO MEOW. I thought my ears were tricking me but my daughter said, Oh my that dog just meowed, so we listened and sure enought my dog meows........is this normal? lol

Its not unheard of, believe it or not. Your dog is mimicing what she has heard from her 'pack'. You didnt mention how old your dog was but judging from what you said, Im guessing around 1. When she is ready to bark, she will. No need to worry. After all, how many people can say that their dog 'meows'? I think its cute. Thanks for sharing that one, you made my day!!

i dunno but our chihuahua behaves like a cat the way she cleans her paws and face mimics our calicos
