According to the Talmud, the authoritative Jewish holy book. Yeshu was the son of a Jewish woman named Miriam who was betrothed to a carpenter. "Betrothed" means she was legally married to him, but she was not yet living with him or having sexual relations with him. The story says that Miriam was either raped by or voluntarily slept with Pandeira, a Greek or Roman soldier. Miriam than gave birth to Yeshu, who was considered a "mamzer" (bastard), a product of an adulterous relationship. The Talmud describes Yeshu as a heretic who dabbled in sorcery and lead the people astray. He was eventually executed. Yeshu is the real name for what the Greeks erroneously translated into Jesus, Miriam is the Jewish form of Mary, and according to the Christian New testament her husband was the carpenter known as Joseph. The working of Jesus’s miracles could also be viewed as sorcery or magic, and Jesus was executed. So what we have here is a biography of Jesus written by his own people the Jews.
Why do Christians accept as truth the New Testament, written in Greek long after Jesus was dead, by foreigners who had never met Jesus, when here is a biography written about him by his own people? Surely him being a mamzer is more plausible then virgin birth.
Why do Christians accept the whole of the Old Testament, a collection of Jewish holy stories lierally, but reject this Jewish biography of Jesus in favour of some Greek myths of extremely dubious origin?

Well you couldn't very well have the Church of the Sorcerer Bastard whose Mother was a Tart. I mean the old ladies wouln't go to the bingo sessions in such a place. I mean can you imagine a troup of nuns called the Mamzerites whose initiation involved copulating with a Greek soldier. It just wouldn't be Christian :)

The New Testament was actually written by Jews, most of whom had met Jesus.
When the Gospel was first preached, it was preached to Jews only. The first believers were all Jewish.
It was only through Paul (a Jew) that what started out as a movement within Judaism, started to spread to Gentiles as well!
Although many Jews accpted Yeshua as their Messiah, the majority rejected the Gospel and started persecuting those who believed.
An example of this can be found in Acts, 14, 1-6
1 Now it happened in Iconium that they went together to the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of the Jews and of the Greeks believed.
2 But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren.
3 Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
4 But the multitude of the city was divided: part sided with the Jews, and part with the apostles.
5 And when a violent attempt was made by both the Gentiles and Jews, with their rulers, to abuse and stone them,
6 they became aware of it and fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region.
Most Jews will probably doubt that any of this is true but I see no reason not to believe it, considering that it is Paul who wrote it and that he himself was Jewish.
The Talmudic account of Jesus' life and death was written by those Jews, who did not accept Jesus as their Messiah.
The New Testament on the other hand, was written by His disciples. They too, were Jewish though.
The last book of the New Testament, the Revelation was written by John (or Yochanan in Hebrew) around 100 a.d. and he was one of Jesus original 12 disciples!
As to why the New Testament was written in Greek, many scholars believe that at least parts of it, were originally written in Aramaic and only later translated into Greek. Why? Because back then, Greek was what English is today.
I suggest you read the Jewish New Testament, by David H. Stern, as his translation focuses on expressing the original and essential Jewishness of the New Testament.

When was this portion of the Talmud written? Most likely it was a polemic written against the rise of Christianity and has no historical roots to it. There would be no reason to write something like that before the rise of Christianity, only once Judaism was threatened by it would they write something about a person who was (at the time) of negligable historical significance outside of the realm of Christianity.

Talmud is written by Jewish scholars. It is not a holy book. It is racist book. You the Jews have always been rebellious against God and His great messenger like Jesus Christ(Peace be Upon Him). Your history is full of killings and plotting against these messenger even if they are from the House Of Israel (PBUH). Jesus is born miraculously without male intervention. He is the Christ you were waiting for him. Instead of believing him you accused him and his mother the virgin Mary with false charges. You Jews have a test for God's messengers. If you kill them then they are lairs. You plot to Kill Jesus but he prayed to God and God answered his prayer and took him up to Him and cast his Resemblance on "Iscariot" the traitor whom you mistook him for Jesus. But you Jews because you've been always wicked God took prophethood from your nation and give it to another "Muslims" who will crush you in Palestine and this is why you are gathering there like stray dogs. This is mentioned in the Bible and the Quran. So never talk impolitely and lies about Jesus and his mother who God Chosen her above the women of all nations on this planet.

Oh boy! I think that you just opened a can of worms. Being Christian means that we were taught the Bible not the Talmud. The Bible tells us that the Jewish crowd yelled out for Barabbas to be freed instead of Jesus. The Romans didn't want to get their skirts dirty so handed Jesus over. FEAR DRIVES THE UNKNOWN. THE JEWS WERE AFRAID JESUS WAS A SORCERER AND THEREFORE DECIDED TO TEST HIS ABILITY TO RAISE HIMSELF FROM THE DEAD. END OF STORY. THE LORD JESUS WALKS AMONGST US TODAY!

i think your image really suits you.Jesus was the son of merry she was innocent and the birth of Jesus is a miracle itself, cause merry became pregnant while she was virgin without marrying or having sex with any one she.and when she give birth to Jesus all people blamed her and gossips about her but the god told her to be patient and not to talk 2 any body and when people ask her about the baby she have to point to him and when she did that then Jesus talk while he was a baby of few days in the cradle.and then he spoke to the people and told them that he is a prophet and messenger from god and he is blessing from god he and his mother.
god saied:-
26. "So eat and drink and be glad, and if you see any human being, say: 'Verily! I have vowed a fast unto the Most Beneficent (Allâh) so I shall not speak to any human being this day.'"
27. Then she brought him (the baby) to her people, carrying him. They said: "O Mary! Indeed you have brought a thing Fariya (an unheard mighty thing).
28. "O sister (i.e. the like) of Hârûn (Aaron) [not the brother of Mûsa (Moses), but he was another pious man at the time of Maryam (Mary)]! Your father was not a man who used to commit adultery, nor your mother was an unchaste woman."
29. Then she pointed to him. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"
30. "He ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: Verily! I am a slave of Allâh, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;"
31. "And He has made me blessed wheresoever I be, and has enjoined on me Salât (prayer), and Zakât, as long as I live."
32. "And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest.
33. "And Salâm (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!"
34. Such is 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). (it is) a statement of truth, about which they doubt (or dispute).

All that you say may be so, but it still wasn't fair to give clemency to Barnabas instead of J.C.. Is being a "sorcerer" or troublemaker worse than being a murderer? Pontius Pilate said, "I wash my hands of this," because as judge, he knew it was an unjust decision, but he went with the will of the mob.

Basturd of man doesn't have a good ring to it? Insemenation from God has a better ring to it than getting raped by a soldier.
Its better to wear blinders than to admit the belief system you had most of your life was a sham
