This is a hard one. Im sure if you say to the vet about your cat Im sure he will let you pay the money back once you get paid. Ring him up and ask your vet, I know my vet would do that for me. All you can do is try asking the vet and tell him your situation, he will be understanding. You could try and rinse your kittens eyes out with water and see if that helps. Please ring the vet and see if he would let you pay on pay day. Good Luck

Use Saline solution to wash the eye gently. To make saline solution, dissolve a small quantity of table salt in some clean water. To see if it is not too strong, taste it and it should taste similar to your tears. Try and have the solution a little warm as cold solution may not be appreciated by your kitten. (Nor will it if it is too hot). Test it on your wrist for a comfortable temperature before using it on the kitten.
You may need to wash the kittens eye twice a day or maybe more until it clears up. If it does not start to clear up after two days, seek further advice. Preferably from a vet or even an animal shelter staff member.

you can try to call around and see if there is a vet that will take payments so you wont have to pay upfront the whole cost. Aside from that most cream/salves for eyes and anti bacteria oral medications have to be vet prescribed, there really isnt anything you can get over the counter especially not knowing the true reason why the eye is afflected to begin with. Most pets cost quite a bit of money in routine checkups, foods, emergency stuff, and other basics. I would recommend after this ordeal to set up a savings plan for things of this nature, it is always a wise idea to plan ahead for unseen things down the road, and if you can make this routine to set aside money it will help you in the long run with alot of things life can throw at you. :) Good luck and best wishes for kitty.

Take luke warm water and a wash cloth and wipe the eye gently a couple of times a day to keep it clean and call the vet. They may just give u some advise on what to do instead of bringing him in.

Please ask your vet if he will wait for payment.
Chlamydia is the most common eye infection in kittens and needs Tetracycline (an antibiotic) to treat it - there are several ointments available from vets which contain Tetracycline. Left untreated the bacteria propogates and becomes much harder (and more expensive) to treat. Unfortunately it can lead to ulcerations of the cornea (a cloudy appearance of the eye) which may result in blindness. It can spread from one eye to the other - so both eyes need to be treated.

take her to the vet anyway. A lot of times they will work with you on a payment plan. They just want to make your cat better. See if you can find a cat-only vet. They usually are the best and are very sympathetic.
Good luck!

I would take him to the vet immediately. Like most doctors, the vet will send you a bill, or offer to pay some now and the rest in 2 weeks. Good luck w/your kitty...I hope he gets better soon!

About a year ago my cat had someone hit her in the eye with something and it was almost like a black eye...very swollen, leaky. I took her to the vet and she gave me neosporin. I had to put a thin line in her eye twice a day. I also iced it with frozen cotton balls. She thankfully didn't loose her sight, but good luck!!

Kittens are tough, just give him plenty of love. I'm not sure what you mean by "coal", but if the eye is just red, it should get better. If it's runny, maybe wash his face with something very soft. Poor little guy!

you need to hold your kitten and get a cotton ball and dip it in warm water and drip it over the cats eye and make sure the cats eye is shut and rub it to the corner of the eye cause that has happen to my cat too and you will have to do that ever hour and in about 2 to 3 days it will be fine?
