Do you hate your siblings?

In fact, i do! i hate my brother so much! he annoys me everytime he walks pass, he hits me for no reason and he doesn't do anything around the house. even my parents get pissed off at him coz he talks back at them and bothers them everytime to buy something he wants. he acts so childish when he suppose to be the mature one. he's 18 years old (just a year older than me). I only get along with him when i try to fit in whatever he does.. he always tries to make things his way. ugh!

Am i the only one who feels like this towards their brother or sister? what should i do to make him stop and be more mature and grow out his ways?? i need help!!

I am pleased to tell you that there is light at the end of the tunnel. My brother is 11 months older than me and I remember saying when I was 19 that if my brother died tomorrow, I would not even go to his funeral- that's how much I hated him.

A couple of years later I was in the hospital and he came to visit me. We re-established our brother/sister relationship on an adult level.

I was there for him when he fell on hard times. He was there for me when I fell on hard times 5 years later. Now we live in the same house and we get along great.

Good luck and don't wait for a tragedy to strike. You never know when it might be too late.

I have two older brothers and a younger sister and believe me when we where all that age the house was crazy. Guys takes much longer to grow up and i don't really think there is anything you can do now. Just be yourself. Maybe go sit and talk to him.

He will grow up and then you will see it is the best thing to have a older brother. I love my siblings,you just have to get past that phase.

well i also have a older sibling, but it is a sister and she is 5 years older than me. We get along just, fine...no fighting or anything.

But in your situation, i think older brothers are just like that. Im sure that he loves you, but he just likes to pick on you cuz u his lil sister. Some ppl say that males dont fully mature until like 25 or whatever, but idk.

Eventually, he will stop treating u this way and appreciate u, and will feel bad.

I HATE MY BROTHER AS WELL!!!!!!!!!! He makes me so mad sometimes I just snap, I try to separate myself from him but he bothers me anyways! His name is Tiger!!!! His real name!!!!! He hits me but I know how to defend myself. You know what you should do, if you have a lock on your room, use it, ignore him by all means possible, even if he trash talks you, just put on your ipod & ignore, he's acting this way for only 3 reasons, 1. he wants attention, 2. to get what he wants, & 3. because he's bored. Also, talk to your parents about this, make them sit & focus on you with your brother nowhere to be seen, make them see your point of view, they're the only 1's who can stop him, tell them to remember that THEY are the parents, not your brother the baby who is trying to get attention, tell them they can always punish him, that as long as he wants to be under their roof, eat their food, use their stuff, he will listen to THEM, or else he has to start paying for his actions, remenber to defend yourself, if he hurts you, hurt him, just not as hard as he did you, then go to your room or ignore him, your parents should understand that you were defending youself, when & if he tells on you, that all I can tell you, I hope it at least helped a little.

you are not alone!!!! same stuff here. but in my case it is my sister and im the older one.. im a year older than she is... we always fight( not physically but verbally) and we dislike each other. maybe its just because we are too very different person who couldnt just get along or co exist with each other, like you, we have some peace time when im trying to get along wit her to whatever she's doin or stuff she likes to do. actually, i dont think there is anything you can do to stop him being sooo annoying. in my case, even my own parents can do nothin bout my sister. i think thats the situation wit your parents as well. dont try to change him coz it just wont happen. try to get along it him as far as you can handle, but if things het really worst, then just ignore him. pretend and think that he is not there or anywhere near. just to avoid too much fight and headache and wrinkles on your side...

I have younger brother, he is not don anything around the house either, but ANYTIME i need a help - he is there. He is lazy and sometimes acts like an idiot, but i do love him, and will do anything for him too.

I actually have an older sister and youthful brother. yet i recognize them both. i concept that i hated my sister until eventually in some unspecified time sooner or later we were operating jointly and we were both doing diverse operating drills so i became prior to her because mine required extra sprinting in it. (i do a a million minute sprint 2 minute fix jog 8 cases). frequently as i do my fix jog she passes me. yet this time she did not. So i turn round to work out how a options in the back of me she became and he or she became completely lacking! i could not locate her! (i am going to end the tale right here). properly, besides, i realized that you not in any respect comprehend what you purchased until eventually this is lengthy gone.

ha! Sounds like he is showing you brotherly-sisterly love like my brother did to me, who is 2 years older than me! Just play along with him as in when he hits you say "oh whatever his name is your silly." Act like he is without being mean. It will annoyin him so badly that he will just stop. Be nicer to him no matter WHAT he does and he will stop- Hopefully! It worked for me!

Oh, I hated my brother with a passion until the day I moved out. (I was 19 and he was 23) Now that we don't live together and he's more grown up things have gotten better.

I don't hate my kid sister, although she has a Way of making me go mad all the time. She is very lazy and runs her mouth too much, but I kind of like her company cause it's becoming fun to me.
