I guess you should let her have the party, but maybe give her a few guidelines like call you if anything goes wrong or have someone she can trust to "oversee" the incoming guests(or just be the bouncer). she may be a resposible person, but she cannot control everything that happens around her. Make sure she knows the police's phone number, or at least ask her to have a phone handy or within reach at al ltime in case of an emergency.

Let them get on with it. Just explain any damages are down to her to pay for. However as it's an eighteenth why are you not having a family and friends party?

i would let her get on with it. but make it clear to her that you expect reasonable behaviour and that this "un-policed" party is like a trial and if she/her friends mess it up it will go back to being supervised.

I agree, she's 18, let her have an unchaperoned party. You say she's responsible, let her have fun.
