why waste a perfectly good brick?

The brick will, because it has less wind resistance. If the man was the same shape as a brick, they would hit the ground at the same time.

I think the brick would, the man would be smart enough to ask a woman what he should do first. Then the woman would tell him to wear a parachute. (JK, hopefully he would be smart enough to have one without needing to ask.)
