I have been eating less fatting things and sweets. I have been drinking lots of water. Well you see I made a bet on who would loose more weight. I have been exercising about 45 minutes to an hour on the treadmill. I run I walk and use the incline alot. I hae been doing this for 7 weeks.

but you haven't lost any pounds? maybe you've put on muscle *which weighs more than fat*
maybe you should change your bet to who can lose the most inches because thats really all that counts.. isn't it? Its what makes you skinnier.

Since you have been losing inches, it's possible that your fat mass is being replaced with muscle mass...good for you!
Another reason for your lack of weight loss could be the retention of water, there is stuff you could do about that, but why would you, other than the bet?

You're getting healthier and slimmer, which is a reward in itself. You could revert to crash diets to lose weight fast, but this would only cause you to have a slower metabolism (which makes you fat in a hurry after you've stopped the diet) and probably have unhealthy low water levels in your body.

I say keep it up, and forget about the bet!

Continue it minimum six months i.e. 4 x 6= 24 weeks.

you may have been losing weight and gaining muscle as you exercise. muscle weighs 3 times more than fat.

This is very nice to do exercise every day,but you please do not do more sometimes it seems bad for you.If you realy want to loss you weight then do you all works by own.
