They believe that there grown up. There almost to the point were school is going to be over and they're gonna have a new lease on life. It's nothing to be ashamed of...annoying yes, but nothing bad. I just think it's funny when I ask someone what grade they're in, they tell me they're a senior......I didn't ask that, I asked what GRADE your in....that's the 12th.

Because they are happy they are at the top end of their initial schooling cycle. True, they will be freshmen again, but for the time being, they are at the top. Good question though, I used to wonder about that when I was in school.

It's normal. You spend 3 years on the bottom so once you get to the top, it's a cool feeling. Being a freshman in college is different. People aren't so judgemental and you really don't pay much attention to it.

Being a senior is an accomplishment. You are almost done with the first 13 years of your education, you've reached a milestone. Plus you are nearly an adult. Big right of passage in our society. Wait until you are one, and then you will see.

When your were a junior someone bragged about it so its only natural that when you are a senior you brag about it. No profound reason.
