I just retired from the United States Army and I never had to look for a civilian job. Now I'm in the search for a civilian Employment and I cant believe with education and military background. I aint getting no where. I think its sad that a lot of legal and born americans are getting kicked to the side for cheaper laborers. What happened to our own taking care of our own. Our grandparent did pick veg/fruit and worked construction jobs that made this country what it is. Now these illegals are crying out saying "OUR Gov't is being unfair to them". I think they brought it on themselves by not going foreword and becoming a legal citizen. Its like if I drive drunk and ran over a person. Don't you think I should be liable for it. Well whats the differance with illegal status> It still has the illegal WQORD in it. I say EXPORT them back to their org place. Let them come back the right way. Oh yeah! They say who's going work in the farming industry. Well I pay taxes. Prisioners do the work!!!

i m not surprised that you have no job may be you should try Europe since it so great. Mexicans have been in California and America for many thousands of years. if you dint like them then why are you here squatter.your family got so called legal status in a month , fraud that's only because of the corruption in power.
by the way their are way more Anglos here than native American so who is the trespasser. since you like analogies so much here one for you and your buddies
if someone brakes into your house and land then claims its theirs because they have stolen it for along time. if they don't give it back they are guilty for the crimes the peoples did in the first place to attain it. so if your a new immigrant with no connection to the invaders of 1492 and their descendant then you have no say in this matter.

Not 8, not 10, but 30 million illegal Mexicans are in this country. This has and continues to be a huge drain on government benefit programs and subsidized housing that was to be for Americas poor, elderly, and disabled. It has brought violence and prejudice to our country. Using the current "anchor baby" law, Mexicans have a child born here and immediately sign up for food stamps, medical, housing, and money. Why work in a field when you can basically have everything you need and then work for meat packing or construction or other labor jobs that pay you cash under the table. Then the illegals can send it back to Mexico for their families to come and join them. Most illegals are here from visas and just never returned. Most have never been vaccinated and carry TB and Polio and other disease that was all but wiped out in this country. I dont know how so many of them got into the military, fake id and birth certificates, someone elses social security number, whatever. The very fact they are illegal and still maintain allegiance to Mexico is a great cause for concern. These are people who have no desire to be citizens.....they get everything without being one anyhow. They prefer to remain Mexican, wont learn english, fly the mexican flag, and talk about how stupid americans are and how easy it is for them to be catered to. They will all be in for a big surprise when all benefits are stopped and the anchor baby law is repealed. Only then will they return home. They will never, I repeat never get the amnesty they are demanding. Yes demanding. As if an intruder into your home could demand that you leave or suffer the consequences. Their time is coming.

In 1965, Ted Kennedy convinced us to go off the quota system and onto the merit system for immigration. It has produced an ever increasing number of illegal immigration since then. In 1975, the federal government decided to stop deporting illegals with no explanation. Ever since then, no good reasons have come out of Washington why they have allowed foreign nationals to colonize in America and claim that land to Mexico - even giving 3 million of them Amnesty in 1996 to help their cause. Mexico wised up years ago, and has funded special interests groups to strike down our laws and push their social programs onto us which is now bankrupting many budgets by exploiting our civil rights laws to their benefit. There is no job an American wouldn't do - in fact I could use my sources to show illegals make too much money over legal citzens. They have exploited weaknesses in our constitution so that when it comes to their rights, 17% of the population can be represented as 97% of the population. What we have done by allowing this to happen is to create a class of people that are preferencial to being hired for jobs above legal citizens - and there have been many example of how people cannot get even bad paying jobs here in Answers, because of that preferencial class treatment that we created.

It's time to tell Congress who they represent, and stop them from destroying the very country that gave them their freedom and power that so many of them adamantley fight hard to destroy.

And that's why you can't find a job.

Now, just listen to the guy above me spread the lies that there is no such place as America and no such thing as an American citizen or their rights - now you have an idea of what we are fighting against. There is of course, no question there is a Mexico, a Mexican citizen, and their rights.

WE WILL NEVER SUSPEND OUR CONSTITUTION TO ACCOMODATE OR BEND TO THE WILL OF ANOTHER COUNTRY.

We do have a huge problem in America with illegals. It's not just Mexicans. I'm also pretty upset with the US companies who have shut down their companies and cost the lively hood of many hardworking americans to go to Mexico to re-open their companies there for cheaper labor and to cut cost. I don't hate people from other countries because we all came here from other countries but we have a problem with those who come here and commit crimes and then run back to their countries for protection and then again return her once more to commit more crimes. Yes, I can understand your frustration, you go into the military get all this experience and go to school and then when you get out you can't get a job, that sucks. Right now when you try and get a job they want you to speak both spanish and english and if you don't you don't get the job. I can understand that we need translators but I can't get a job because I can't speak spanish and this is America. I understand that many illegals come for a better way of life, that is why many immigrants came to America. Remember when Castro let all his crazy and insane people free to come to America and to mention the crimminals he released who came here to be our problems and put a strain on the American people. I think you should come to America the legal way. We are spending billions of dollars a year to people who come here as illegals and yet people in America who are Americans when down on their luck can't get help from anyone.

So you are struggling to find a job picking fruit? Illegal immigration is not as big an issue as it has been made out to be in the past few months. All we have been hearing is just another attempt to divide the nation as the elections draw closer.

I agree with you totally. Yes, deport all illegal immigrants. I have all respect for legal immigrants who went through all the legal procedures. However, you should not have a problem finding work for decent pay in your own country, particularly after serving time in our military.

I think you are just trying to mess with ppl right now.And it looks like you succeeded.Woohoo for you..not.The key words...Our grandparents. They might have done all that, but not many americans want to do it now.I can't change your mind no matter what I say,so.....all I can say is that how can you pay taxes when you are looking for a job?You said you pay taxes, but you also said you're looking for work(can you do both?).

Well, bye, and thanks for fighting for our country. Not too many soldiers get recognized fully and it's a shame.I hope all goes well for you, good luck.

And this is from a pro-illegals,not pro-amnesty(theres a difference).

Um... I wouldn't put to much credit in your "education and military background" if you're competiting for the same jobs that illegal immigrants are taking.
