i dont know anybody in the school and none of my friends are going there.. do u have any tips on getting friends and for me to hang out with them at lunch etc. cause im kind of the shy type.. and i dont want to be alone

Don't worry about it. Big changes in life are always scary, but I'm sure you'll find that everything will go much better than you think it will.
Just be yourself and don't worry about it now.

That can be a scary situation. I remember the 9th grade. I sat in the corner alone, was afraid of forgetting the locker combination and missing classes because I couldn't locate them. Just be yourself no matter what. Join a club or a sports team. That helps a lot. Don't worry about the idiot answers. Don't worry about fitting in because there will be others besides you except some of them will pick fights and get into other trouble instead of doing appropriate things. Good Luck to you. u are lucky! you get to start all over. if you are the only new kid start a week late so people don't ignore you because they are meeting their friends for the first time in a long time.
don't be shy because people want to know you! but you have to make the first move. talk about the other person a lot because everybody loves to talk about themselves. ask them about the school because people would probably love to tell you things you need to know.
make friends during the first few hours and then ask them if id be cool if you ate with them because you don't know anyone. they will agree. people love to be the one that coined the new kid.

say hi to EVERYONE! and those who say hi back, say "hi, my name is(insert name here). they will likely introduce themselves and you can start a conversation. say things like "im new here and I dont know anyone. can you introduce me to some people?"
keep in mind that you are not the only one new to that school and you will probably meet many other freshmen. just be outgoing and relaxed.
