I dont understand what the big deal is with single mums and dads, they r still eligible partners,u should have more confidenece in urself, I would date a single dad why not cant be any worse than the tossers ive been going out with lately.

You might find different women are now attracted to you, not those you were used to previously.
It takes a special type of person to be able to whole heartedly accept someone elses children, and from some questions I've seen on here, a lot of people marry someone with children only to find they then 'don't like' the stepchildren. So I think those of us who are on our own with children have to be more cautious about potential partners.
if it's any consolation, there's one single father I am aware of who collects his children from school, and the mothers there all think he's wonderful.
It is about confidence, but it's also about presenting yourself as a package' now, two of you. And balancing the role of father with also the requirements of a relationship, and for that, you will need a special woman, willing to understand and accept that before you knew her, you knew your child.

It depends.

If i see some guy with their kid, at the mall, at the park or anywhere, They always fall under my "Crush list". I guess it is because i see the responsible man within rather than the man being tied to the kid.

It;s a matter of how the girl see the situation.

i am currently dating a guy who has two small children, he's my age and has children much younger than mine. my children are 19 and 18 and the 18 yr old still lives at home. if you think its hard finding a woman to date when you have children, try being a woman looking for a man to date when you have children. when my children were younger (after my divorce) it was almost impossible to find guys willing to date a woman with children.

there are woman who like guys with kids. it happens all the time. But you probably will have to look a little harder then normal. You don't want to bring just anyone home around your kid.

your first priority should be your little girl (and it seems like it is) and a mature and responsible woman (the only kind you should expose your daughter to) will recognize your responsibility to your child and be able to deal with it and have a relationship with you that meshes with your life....don't get down, you will find her and she will be worth the dry spell you're going thru now : )

It's really very simple.Go do activities with your daughter, that you like,in the places you like to go.
You will then find people(ie ladies) who like to do the very same things you like to do...children or not, you have something in common already!!!
