You probably don't have to. Likely you're just skipping the other choices by doing so. If you wait it out, it'll probably continue in English.

Would you rather press '10'?
Or are you complaining because everything isn't offered ONLY in English? If so, you're in for a shock. English is not the only official language in the US. Different parts of the country have declared Spanish to be an alternate official language. And in time, other languages may be declared official as well, as immigration brings in large numbers of people from other parts of the world.

I don't know why either there should be different numbers for other languages. I always here that Spanish telling them to press 2. I don't like it. If I do ever reach a person and they ask is there anything I can help you with I tell them get Spanish people a different line. I am not prejudice I just don't want to take my time to learn your language. I am an American. Here we speak American English either learn it or go home. We did not want to speak the queens English that why we are here.

Asde from the fact we have no natinal language like other countries. We've gotten lazy. When my family got off the boat, it was no more Italian, Polish or such. They all learned Englis. They were so thrilled to Be here, they wanted to be Americans all the way. Now people are jsut too lazy to care. It's easier to say i can't learn, it's too hard, just print it in Spanish, German, Japanese. You know we are the only civilzed, world power of a country that does not demand our children learn another language. You will be hard pressed to find a European that only speaks on language. It's lazy on the part of immigrants not learn. Laziness onthe part of the governement not demanding it, and too many people being accpeting of the laziness. After that rant, i'd like to point out that we depend on a constant influx of immigrants to boost our economy.however, where is the pride and joy of being in America. I think if you hate your own country so much that you come here via visa, jumping borders or what ever reason...would it really kill you to work as hard as the ancestors of people already here to learn english.

That is a good question since English is our national language. I understand that Spanish is popular but why don't we have Native American, African, French, Korean or Chinese options?....I mean we are suppose to be equal opportunity..... With the baby boomers reaching senior years I think a volume option would be nice...(smile)
