i was in the exact same situation a few years ago... i used to say i'm gonna move to dad just to piss her off, but when i really decided to do it it was okay... tell her that by law you have the right to choose who you stay with and you're planning to move unless she has a good reason for you not to. you could talk to your dad too, if they speak to eachother about it she might feel better about letting you move to him. but try and see things from your mothers point of view too, just imagine your daughter who's lived with you your whole life suddenly moves out.

Give her a little time to get used to the idea and then discuss this with her. Tell her you want to talk about this calmly. Ask her why she is SO upset. As a mother myself, I can sorta relate to her. But also, I knew things about my daughter's father that I was trying to protect her from. I don't know how old you are....so I don't know how much she would be willing to clue you in on. But you DO need to talk and find out her feelings. It is really hard to let a daughter go. Even when it is just time to let her go off on her own.
I hope this helps. Good luck! :)

You could try telling her that you need her to love you enough to let go of you for just a little while, because you really do need your dad at this point & time in your life. Let her get used to the idea of it being for just a little while, then work on it a little at a time, telling her again that it's just for a little while longer... & after awhile if you decide you want to make it permanent... then tell her you want to stay permanently.

I think you need to put yourself in her position, I guess she was acting overly dramatic cos she scared of losing you.. I hope you wanna live with dad not because you had a fight with her :) Try talk to her and explain your situation.. she'll understand..
