I'm a darn good Italian cook (which is my preferred way of cooking." But as far as traditionally American cooking, to me you just cant beat southern cuisine. Some of the best things I have ever had in my life have been southern dishes. This is truly "comfort food" at it's best! Just watch those calories!

The main food is all the same, served by franchised outlets (if you can call it food) the only difference is that in the Southern US it comes with extra grease.

Learn to cook for yourselves otherwise you will all be fat overweight unhealthy lardbuckets like the majority in the US and now the UK.

I've been all over this nation. I've found good food everywhere I've gone. Of course I'm talking home cooked not fast food and restaurant chains. There's some good food down south. I especially like the smoked BBQ and the Cajun.

ive been to new york and boston and london...but live here in texas and i must say....the food here is 100 percent better.. number one... the meat at a mcdonalds in NY vs. the meat at a mcdonalds in texas is very different...in size, taste, and even color. Most of the norths everyday food establishments are gross, not picked up, not clean...basically need to have their license revoked. In the south a place like that wont keep its doors open.

southern food is not entirely made of grease to start with. It is all about how you cook it. It is all about spices and good combinations of food. northern food is so bland compaired to southern food. Food in the south has a kick to it.
