Sage - traditionally used to flavour stuffing
Salad Burnet - The refreshing taste of cucumber
Sea Parsley - A native herb of coastal areas
Star Anise - One ingredient of Chinese five-spice powder
Stevia - The leaves are two hundred times sweeter than sugar
Summer Savory - A tasty annual herb
Tansy - Try tansy as an insect repellent.
Tarragon - One of the French fines herbes.

Steak House Seasoning
1/4 (16 ounce) box kosher salt
1 ounces onion powder (sifted)
1 ounces garlic salt
1 ounces celery salt
1 ounces paprika (sifted)
1 ounces black pepper
1 ounces sugar
1/2 ounce nutmeg

Mix all ingredients together well. Serve with steak.

Steak Marinade Recipe
Simple ingredients that don't overpower the flavor of a great steak.
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup oil
2 garlic, minced

Place steak in a non metal dish just large enough to hold it or in a sealable plastic bag.
Refrigerate for anywhere from 2 to 24 hours.

Outback Steakhouse Steak Seasoning
2 tablespoons cayenne pepper, ground
2 tablespoons black pepper, ground fresh
1 tablespoon chili powder, ancho
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon cumin, ground
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon salt
Mix all ingredients well, serve with steak

Take Out Style Rotisserie Chicken INGREDIENTS: 1 whole fryer chicken 1/2 cup oil 2 tablespoon honey 2 tablespoon lime juice 1/2 teaspoon paprika seasoned salt to taste PREPARATION: Combine all ingredients, except the chicken of course, in a saucepan over medium heat. Mix until honey is completely melted and mixture is smooth. Clean and prepare chicken for rotisserie. Baste chicken with sauce and place on rotisserie on preheated grill. Cook for about 35 to 40 minutes at a temperature around 400oF basting occasionally with sauce. When done remove from grill and wrap tightly in foil. Let sit for about 15 minutes, then carve and serve.

Salt, pepper and Spanish smoked paprika with a touch of garlic rubbed on and maybe some onion powder if you want a little different taste.

What I've seen used in restaurant kitchens is Kosher salt, cracked black pepper, cracked coriander seed, paprika, and garlic powder.

I use salt, pepper, and garlic powder on sirloin, t-bones, etc. I also like to use Worchester sauce on steaks that I grill.

You must use garlic powder no matter what else you use.

personally i like to use oregano or rosemary. they give out a very rich fragrance.
