I think what's wrong is that you live in a town of 3300. That's tiny. You probably already know every 16-17 year old girl there, so if you haven't found any that like the real you, you're probably out of luck there. But don't worry about it---if you go to college you'll meet a ton of new girls, and it'll be a lot easier to be yourself and find someone who likes you for you, as you'll be starting with a clean slate. If you don't go to college, broaden your life experiences and move out of that town. That will also allow you to meet new girls. Really, the problem is that there aren't that many girls there and that the ones who are there already have a perception of you that isn't going to change. Accept that and start over when you leave your town. Good luck!

You wanna know what's wrong with you and why you can't get a good girlfriend...
A: YOU'RE 17! You haven't found the right girl yet because you're young.
B: You live in a TOWN of 3300 people.
C: Try Being yourself around EVERYONE ALL THE TIME and maybe someone will like you for you.
D: You seek validation from strangers on the internet. That's a major turn off for anybody.

Well all I can say is that You should be yourself no matter what. And if it's hard, then don't get into a relationship or go out looking for a suitable girlfriend.
A good idea is to just go out and make friends, and be yourself. Get to know them and them you .... you never know maybe you'll really like one, and then you wont have to put up appearances and change because she will already know you.

I live in a town about that size and allow me to commiserate... yes, the pickings are slim, but I can't tell you how worthwhile it is to just WAIT for a quality relationship.
And maybe try looking a little bit closer at what's around you. Sounds like the girls you've been trying to get with are all wrong for you.

u never change for anyone if they don't like u for who u are they are not worth talking too. Don't try so hard it makes u seem desperate It might seem right now u will never find anyone but u will when u least aspect it and age has nothing to do with it just be patient. I was 22 when i found my true love and i was not looking.

I think that you have answered your own question. "You haven't found a suitable girl" You should nver change who you are. To thine own self be true I think that is how the saying goes. 17 is still young, have lots of friends and fun and when the right one comes along, you will be glad that you can be yourself around her and not have to pretend. Good luck
