One of the easiest fish to "grill" that tastes AWESOME is Tuna. A Tuna steak or Mahi steak is super simple to cook and excellent for "domestic" or "party" atmosphere's.
First,& MOST IMPORTANT, when cooking fish, always go by this equation: For every inch of fish cook it 8-10 minutes.
SUPER EASY RECIPE
1. Marinate Tuna or Mahi steaks in your favorite marinade for at least 2 hours.
2. Get grill fired up.
3. Wait til grill is at least to 400 degrees.
4. Put steaks on grill.
5. Close lid of grill & wait 5 minutes.
6. Open grill in 5 minutes , flip steaks, and grill for another 4-5 minutes, or until "equation" states.
Viola! THATS IT! Fish that are "dense" ,(Mahi-Mahi, Tuna , Swordfish , Shark), are the easiest fish to cook! And they taste FANTASTIC!
Serve with "Risotto" or "Dirty Rice". And some grilled veggies & you've got a meal fit for a king, (or a Queen & her Princess or Prince).
(FYI: A-1 makes a variety of marinades that are delicious. And, if you don't want to "grill" the fish, instead, "broil" it at 450 degrees with oven "rack" at it's highest point. Also, brush BBQ sauce on veggies as you grill them; children love BBQ sauce! Good luck & Good Eats!)

salmon is quite good. It contains the good Omega 3 fat. Cut the fillets in 2 inch widths. Make sure that you wash the fish with lemon and red wine vinegar or regular white winegar. Rinse it with water and pat dry. Season it with olive oil, salt and pepper to your liking, Mrs dash seasoning, onion powder (not onion salt) and dill. In a non stick pan use either a non stick spray or a bit of butter to coat the pan. Place the salmon in and cook 5 mins on one side (do NOT turn the fish until the 5 minutes are up). Turn over and cook the other side for 5 minutes. Remember, you only turn once. If you keep turning it, the fillet will fall apart. For your safety remember to cook fish 8-10 minutes per inch of thickness. Serve with a light mustard dill sauce and a slice of lemon. You can accompany the fish with a serving of wild rice pilaf and steamed spinach (use a half cup or less of chicken or vegetable broth, Mrs dash, onion powder and butter to the pan you will steam the spinach in)
helpful hint: when buying fish fillets, make sure to feel it, if your finger leaves an indentation, it's stale. when you place your finger on the fillet, it should jump right back into place. let me know if you need any more tips.

You can make fish in various different ways. If you are looking at healthy and for a 5 year old the best fish would be sear fish (white fish)
You need to wash the fish very well with salt and turmeric powder to make it clean. Then mix it with a little salt powder, Peper, vinegar, Onions & Lime. keep it for a while and then boil it. After boiling it can can cook it in Coconut milk to make a curry or you can temper it in a sause pan together with Tomatoes to have a fried dish.

Tilapea is usually a good option. It's mild and fairly in expensive. I usually wrap it in foil with olive oil and lemon juice and bake it at 350 for about 15-20 minutes. When it flakes easily it's done. The rule of thumb is usually to cook fish fillets 10 minutes for each inch of thickness.

Fresh Mahimahi is one of the best. I live in Hawaii so I don't Know what kind of availability you have in your area. Flounder is excellent. You can get frozen Mahimahi, I like to sautee it in olive oil & alittle butter for taste, about a teaspoon of butter, black or white pepper to taste(just a little) capers lemon juice & a splash of whie wine (the alcohol burns off. Steamed broccoli & brown rice. Voila! Broiling fish is always the healthiest way to prepare any fish. If the middle is still raw don't worry that's how many restraunts serve fish, or don't be afraid to zap it in the microwave covered with a plastic cover of or plastic wrap for 45 seconds - 1min. Tuna is also great, we get a lot of red meat tuna in Hawaii we eat it mostly raw w/ olive & sesame oil, green onions, diced tomato, white sweet Maui onions optional,(it's called sashimi or poke, or we roll it up w/ cucumber & nori (dried seaweed, high in iorn) that's sushi, or you can broil or sautee. We boil fresh tuna & salmon & make fresh fish sandwiches w/mayonaise, pickle relish, lemon juice optional.Lemon always makes fishy fish less fishy.Chilean sea bass, whitefish, any kind of snapper, macherel is also good. Wahoo or Jack Trevaly is excellent. Olive oil is healthy, salt & pepper, even diced tomatoes & even some heavy cream or milk, cook until liquid is reduced, a little chicken stock can always be added for xtra moisture...Yummmm

Pour a million/2 cup of milk (skim,a million%,2%) over the potatoes, sprinkle them with salt and pepper, then placed some cheese on excellent. Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven, for 35 minutes. this can in straight forward words take about 10-15 minutes to throw jointly, and also you may in straight forward words relax even as it chefs. playstation : you could also upload a can of tuna to the veggie blend, to get some meat in there desire this permits! keep attempting to eat healthful, this is properly worth it.
