No. It's perfectly fine.
Dhin is full of crap, that's a complete myth, no truth.
Perfectly safe to re-use the bottles also.

Do NOT RE-USE MINERAL WATER BOTTLES
As you know chemical released by plastic water bottles can cause cancer (It is not the water that affects you a but the chemical released from the bottle)
How to avoid: Check the bottom of the bottle there should be a triangle sign and there will be a number on it. If the number is higher than or
equal to 5 --> then this bottle is safe to use. Numbers under 5 will release the chemical. For most bottled water, the number is 1. Remember
to check and stop reusing those bottles.
The plastic (called polyethylene terephthalate or PET) used in these bottles contains a potentially carcinogenic element
(Something called diethylhydroxylamine or DEHA). The bottles are safe for one-time use only; if you must keep them longer, it should be or no more than a few days,
week max, and keep them away from heat as well. Repeated washing and rinsing can cause the plastic to break down and the carcinogens (cancer-causing chemical agents)
can leak into the water that you are drinking. Better to invest in water bottles that are rally meant for multiple uses.

Not harmful to your health, but harmful to the enviroment and the economy.
It actually costs more to bottle the water than the water is actually worth. Therefore, we are using a lot of unnecessary resources to create these plastic bottles. A lot of these plastic bottles end up being thrown away, or littered, which can be harmful to our enviroment in the long run.

Plastic bottles and containers, detergents, other chemicals, pesticides, etc. can contain what are called xeno-estrogens. They are chemicals that mimic the natural estrogens in the body and can attach themselves to the receptor sites and can cause a hormonal imbalance. Drinking from glass or polycarbonate containers are better. Especially if the plastic bottled water/beverage gets hot (being left in a hot car for example) or using plastic in the microwave can leach all those chemicals into the food/water. Best to avoid when can.

No more harmful than drinking anything else out of a plastic bottle, I suppose; we've been using plastic long enough that if it were detrimental to one's health, we'd probably know by now.

There are 2 motives ingesting water out of a plastic bottle would properly be risky on your well-being: a million) micro organism and a pair of) plasticizers leaching out of the plastic and into the water. if you're employing a grade of plastic it really is meant to be reused (like Rubbermaid or Tupperware or Nalgene-type textile) and washing it frequently, it should not be a topic, no matter if you freeze it or no longer. in case you re-use disposable water bottles or do not wash the bottle usually eough, that is risky on your well-being.

Some studies have actually shown that drinking too much bottled water can be harmful to your teeth and bones. It's because the minerals found in some of the waters leech calcium from our bones. But as long as you don't drink gallons of it you'll be fine.

I wrote to Nestle waters a short time ago & asked them this question.
They confirmed that water bottles are only maufactured for one time use only & should not be re used as chemicals do start to leak into the water once the bottles reused.
Hope this helps.

No there's not. If you refill the bottle, it can transfer particles into the water & make you sick. Otherwise, bottled water is safe to drink.
