If you were truly Pagan, how could you just deny the existence of the God and Goddess? It'd be like saying your right arm doesn't exist. Why would you deny them? They are in all things. What is your reasoning for this? BTW, please don't tell me to pray and ask God for forgiveness for my sins. That is not what I am about, and I am not about change my spots to suit you.

If you were raised Christian its hard to get that out of your system. You may want to believe in something else but the bible has been implanted into you brain and you think your committing sins and you know where the sinners go. I guess it all comes down to fear of Gods wrath.

Pagans were obliged to become Christians under the threat of death; however they trasnfered lot of principals of their ancestors' religion into the Christian religion. The Annunciation (compare all Eastern religions and the Amazon saga), the date of Christ's birth (Christmas) which coincides with Winter Solstice, when people celebrated the birth of ancient god Dionysos, the Pentecost or Whitsun which coincides with the Summer Solstice and the come back from Hades of Persefoni's, daughter of Dimitra, godess of Nature and Agricultrure, the Crucifixion, Death and Resurection of Christ with the ancient rites of nature's rebirth after the long winter period, the gods and godesses have become the Saints of the Christian culture.
So do you really believe they converted to Christianity or did they tailor Christianity to their mesures, enclosing Paganism into it?
The same applied when Spaniards conquered Americans.

Most pagans take up the alternative religion at about the age of 14, because they think its cool and they will learn to cast spells on people, then realize that its no more glamorous than christianity, and go back to what they have known from childhood.

I am also astounded at the people who say they converted from Paganism to Christianity. How can you exchange a worldview that puts you in the middle of everything that is good and beautiful for something that puts you outside of it? How can you exchange Gods who love you and communicate with you daily for a cold distant one who holds cruel punishments over your head? How can you exchange personal responsibility, empowerment and freedom for the slavery of "God's Will"?

But, I don't judge or prosthelatize. I just wonder.

This is a serious answer so don't think I'm weird. But my husband was a Pagan when I first met him, one night he fell asleep on his break at work and said that jesus actually came to him and talked to him about the passing of his grandmother (she died a few weeks before) After that he became Christian.

"So many Pagans"? Where do you live that the streets are full of people practicing a religion that all but died out over a thousand years ago? Maybe the better question is, when are you moving?

I am a catholic by birth, but I am really into the Pagan religion so to speak. I think that if my parents found out I wanted to convert they would kill my, but none-the-less I still believe in god and. It is tough!!!

Please. There is no proof about the existence of God or Gods or Gods and Goddesses. Why? Because proof requires fact, and there is no observation regarding God.

God reveals and man observes.

The central theme of your question is belief. This require revelation, not scientific method.

Maybe they saw Christ as their Savior and eternal life there after.

Also, I have been a Christian all of my life and I have not for 1 second feared God or felt like I would ever suffer his wrath.

Again read the Bible before you make ignorant statements.

Believe what you want it is your body and soul.................

I'm living in a Christian household but am Wiccan myself. They probably are just trying to escape persecution, kinda like how I don't live my Wiccan stuff lying around the house for everyone to find.
