Your eyes are the window to your soul and your personality is the expression of your soul.
As with all things, Those who have eyes to see will perceive your soul (meaning those who are sensitive and attuned to the subtlities of people's personalities). The rest will be the poorer for not being able to see.

What does soul mean?
When "soul" or "souls" is used in the Bible it means: 1) people, 2) animals, or 3) the life that a person or an animal enjoys.
Scriptures that clarifies:
People - 1 Peter 3:20 ; Exodus 16:16 ; Romans 13:1
Animals - Gen. 1:20,24
The life - Exodus 4:19 ; Gen. 35:16-19 ; John 10:11
Hopefully these scriptures call help with a better understand to the meaning "soul" when talking about it from the Bible.

Because we don't have the instruments to measure what's going on at the quantum level yet but we will. Those that can see auras can see the energy that comprises your soul. To 'cheat', do this:
Take two wire clothes hangars and straighten them out. Then bend down one end on both, making a handle about 6" long. Fist your hands and hold them in front of you straight out but parallel to the ground, where they can swing freely.
Now have someone walk toward you from about 10' out. Then reverse the roles. You'll see what happens when the hangars pick up the aura/soul.

look into the mirror they say your eyes are the mirror to your soul, do you like what you see, that's the state of your soul.

because your soul is your personality. you dont have a soul = zombie like nothingness / don't have personality = zombie like nothingness
and you can't see your personality, its just there
