Any amount multiplied by (1/0) will result in an Infinity.
Any amount multiplied by 0 will result in a Zero.
What if I multiply 0 by (1/0) ?

Ppl say 1/0 is not infinity. I'll prove it.
Let's say:
1/y = z
if y=5 z = 1/5
if y=1 z = 1 (It gets bigger)
if y=1/2 z= 2 (Even bigger)
if y=1/1000000 z = 1000000 (Much bigger)
As y approach 0, z approach infinity (Very large number)
So 1/0 is INFINITY !!!

NMF
shorthand for "no meaningful figure" since deviding by zero can't be done, it isn't a valid operation, so there is no meaningful quotient.

is it 1? ( just an idea that 0 and 0 will cancel out)
P.S: why do ppl have doubt that 1/0 is not infinity? it IS infinity.
Because, infinity is not defined. can anyone tell what EXACTLY is infinity? no one can. because there is nothing actually such as infinity. its a term that we have given to an unknown number which is greater than any number. and 1/0 is also not defined. therefore, 1/0 is infinity.
P.P.S: my first answer was wrong. the correct answer is that
0*(1/0) is also not defined. there are many expressions like these which are indeterminants. so the answer (for the expression) cannot be determined.

haha 1/0 is not infinity...thats right....
and my math teacher will be pissed if he read your proof....
it approaches infinity....but infinity is not a number...its a state....
if you divide 1 by a number x....so 1/x as x approaches 0, then the value of 1/x is significantly large...but not infinite...infinite is a description of state....not a number....you will say 'it approaches infinity as the denominator approaches zero'
here is what 0(1/0) is....its called an indeterminate form of a mathematical expression....
indeterminate forms are either 0/0 or infin/infin....they have no value but can be reduced by using calculus (and a lot of times simple algebra)
mostly encounted around the concept of L'Hopitals rule, these forms are very powerful and can be surprisingly reduced.
btw....any number raised to the power of 0 is 1 but 1 raised to the power of 0 is also an indeterminate form.

it is not infinity.............it is undeterrmined.......(but a possible number)......and if can determine that undetermined number then multiplying it by zero will give u a zero.....
so first determine that number.....
