It's called sympathy which is a natural emotion. We know how it feels to have pain. So, it's only logical that we wouldn't want to inflict that on others. On the other hand. Christians are taught that you're born bad which can make you bad. You're also taught that god will forgive you for almost anything you do. That can lead to bad behavior

Common sense. Are you implying that I should also believe that lesbians are trying to take over the mind of a person I once knew using electrical outlets? Technically I can't disprove that either, so I cannot claim it false? That's not the way I see it. As for as your other question goes, I define right and wrong by wether or not it hurts other people. If no one's getting hurt, everythings fine. When you're good to other people they are good to you. Well, most of the time. Enough to make it worth it. We only have this life to live and we're done. I'm not going to screw it up making warring with my neighbors.

If the finished moral framework of the Bible were adhered to, there does no longer be 3 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds ravenous at the same time as the Paris HIltons of the international ran round causing problem. The Mosaic code that lined "do no longer thieve" also lined regulations about taking care of the adverse that "there'll be no adverse or hungry between you." With that suggested, God seems upon the heart and weighs the intentions to boot because the outward circumstances. (i'd ought to reveal right into a Scripture decrease-and-paster for those questions.)

You don't need god to live a moral life. God has very little to do with the morals of today. Denying the existance of god is not denying moral law. Most laws are morally correct, because they are fair and just to everyone. Immorality is denying someone the right to choose their own path through life, which you seem to be doing to the athiests.

Who said we deny a moral law? We have great morals. We just don't believe some boogeyman in the sky is judging us. We are good and moral people because it is self satisfying and our choice. We don't need to be threatened into being good people, we just are. Some of us are jerks, but accept it, a religion that hates so many groups and kills in the name of an invisible being has no right to judge me. I love everyone. Homosexuals, Blacks, Mexicans, Hermaphrodites, Cross-dressers, women who have abortions, everyone! Can you say the same?

Morals have nothing to do with the existance of a god.
It is extremely stupid to assume that morals are a consequence of a belief in a superior existance - that would mean that if one stop believing - if one looses faith - suddenly all moral limitation break loose!!!
Morals are embedded in the respect for self and for others. That is a clear standing base, not needing any infinite knowlegde to exist.

Moral don´t depends if your are atheist or not, you follow the rules for many reason: if you are a believer because you don´t want a God of love burn your self for the eternity in the hell. But if you don´t believe in God (atheist) or not sure (agnostic) you can still have moral and follow the law because you think it´s necessary because you live in a society and maybe too you don´t want to go to jail.

You do know that morals are universal, right? That religions don't have a copyright on them? Otherwise the world would be a totally corrupt place, with religious leaders the only ones fit to rule. And it's not like that, thank goodness.

God has nothing to do with morality. Morality is a human trait, and you either have it or you don't. You could believe in God, but still be immoral (like all the popes in the middle ages who killed and raped and murdered in the name of God; like the terrorists who kill in the name of God and hopes of going to heaven; like millions of other examples that I won't write here). Believing in God does not make you moral.
