I dated and eventually married a stripper. I think that you are going to find that the life style is a difficult one to keep away from your child. First you need to worry about the obvious dangers that are in it for you. Rape is one of them. Secondly you need to worry about how this job will affect your child. What happens when your child is school age and some kid says something about how his father has talked about your job and uses degrading language to describe you? Don't think these things don't happen. My step son committed suicide over this at the age of 12. My wife went off the deep end and is a psychiatric ward due to the nervous breakdown, and has been for the last 6 years.

Stripping is not being a s*l*u*t. No matter what anyone else believes, all that matters is how how think of yourself. Many of the nicest ladies I have dated were strippers, and they did good , money wise. They did aspire to become more in life, but dancing gave them the opportunity to do these things. It is not bad or degrading, but think about your daughter. If you would not prefer her be a stripper, then you do have reservations about the occupation. Oh, if you become a stripper, DANCING ability is a must.

I suggest you talk to some strippers and find out the pros and cons before you get into it. I'm sure that some places are better than others to start out. There is a lot of money to be made, but there are drawbacks - helps to have some trusted bouncer-type male friends. And you must know your limits and be super confident. Consider other options that might be less revealing and risky - modeling? Waitressing?

Yes,that's a really big problem. You can just take another job that makes a lot of money too,it's not just stripping.Besides,I don't think your daughter would like that when she gets a little bit older, and she probably looks at you as a role model and I don't think you would appreciate her might being a stripper when she grows into a young lady.

actually its UR LIFE.... but since u have choosen to ask the world !!! i will give my opinion... i think u should be asking YOURSELF how u want ur daughter to see u when she grows up ?.. as a person who fought against all odds and gave her a good , DECENT, upbringing or do u want her to visualize u as a person who dint think twice before earning dirty money [ yes i call it dirty money as striping is nothing different from prostitution ] to make ends meet,,, she will have more respect for you if u do it the hard and decent way instead of taking it out the easier and lucurative way out of ur financial problem...if u do it the decent way she will learn to have morals and ethics in life AND U WILL BE THE LIVING EXAMPLE FOR HER.. if u earn it thru stripping she will think striping is ok and anything beyond that .. probably soliciting ... is also ok if its only for a worthy cause.etc.. thats the sort of mentality she will develop... dont imagine that u will work for a few years and then b4 ur daughter comes to know about it u will stop.. believe me U WONT BE ABLE TO STOP IT NOR WILL CIRCUMSTANCES AND PEOPLE AROUND U WILL ALLOW U TO STOP... and it will be too late when u realise that your easy way out has actually stripped u off ur dignity and peace of mind... dont know which part of the world u r in but ethics and morals are the same the world over dont u think ?.... its ur choice!!!!!

Why on God's green earth would you want to degrade yourself like that. That is just teaching your daughter that a women's worth isn't amounted to a grain of sand. It's shows her that women are merly men's eye candy. You should give this alot of serious thought before going through with it. Ask yourself if you would want your daughter to shake her goodies to get a few dollars stuffed into her g-string. Ask yourself if the whole situation would be worth the few dollars that a man would give you. Yeah sure it starts adding up. But could you really let some slob get near enough to you to give you a few dollars. I do hope you reconsider!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats horrible! strippers have to sell their body to make money, are you saying your willing to sell your body for a low amount of money? cause it would cost a lot more than what a stripper makes for me to sell my money. you can make just as good of money in a sales job. and if you can be a stripper you have a good body so do some face to face or outside sales. you will feel better about yourself, your daughter will be proud of what her mother does and you will still make a grip of money.

In my opinion you shouldn't be a stripper just to make money
because there are better ways to make money instead of taking
your clothes because you want to keep your self-esteem up also
its very important to keep your dignity and pride as a mom

i am a 24 year old mother of 2 at one time in my life i also thought about stripping. It just isn't worth it. Think about how you would have to dumb yourself down and be degraded for money. 9 times out of ten it leads to prostitution . Get a 9 to 5. It dosen't matter what. I bet you'l fee 100 percent better about yourself and life period working a real job.

Yah you could be a stripper and get into drugs and neglect your child because you're too busy partying and snorting rock.
Go to school and learn a trade. Dancing and doing drugs and being a gutter-whore is not a marketable profession.
